DER Realty

One star because there is no 0. This company is made out of a bunch of rude, unprofessional crooks. They have a bunch of companies that call themselves (DER Realty, GPS Realty, JS Carriage, and some more I cannot recall right now. Unfortunately, I was living in an apartment these guys purchased and they have been my landlord for about one year. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! they are never to be found when there is an issue. Last winter I had no heat for well over two weeks when it was below 20 degrees outside and nobody cared. They lied pretending they have contractors come and the only person who came out was their own Chinese contractor who kept telling me in his broken English that he doesn’t know how to fix that type of heater. I found out about their lies after taking them to court and after I received documentation from ConEd and the contractors that they were never contacted.
They only care about profit and nothing else, which would be OK if they had some decent business practice. Their records are horrible and they sometimes harrass tenants. I kept getting calls that I have not paid my rent, even though my check was cashed because they can’t keep track of their accounting. They tried to collect late fees from me for no reason. I would NEVER work with people like them. I have not met one single decent, professional person working for this company.
