History
Established in 1991.
Dr. Zipkowitz has practiced dentistry in the neighborhood for almost twenty years. The practice was originally located on the corner of First Avenue and Fourteenth Street. The practice moved to its current location on Fourteenth Street between First and Second Avenues in 2002. Dr. Zipkowitz enjoys treating the diverse population of the Midtown East/East Village neighborhood.

Dr. Zipkowitz is a life-longer New Yorker, having grown up in Douglaston, Queens. Dr. Zipkowitz graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton with honors in 1984. He received his dental degree in 1988 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating from dental school he continued his training and completed an Advanced General Dentistry Program at the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He remained on staff at Columbia teaching in the Department of Restorative Dentistry part-time for two years. In 1991 he started his general dental practice. Dr. Zipkowitz is committed to the advancement of his skills through continuing education courses. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the New York County Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Zipkowitz lives in Forest Hills with his wife and three children.
