History

Established in 2002.

Cutting Edge Fred is the brainchild of Fred Stepkin. He began his career in 1979 at Henri Bendels for Jean Louis David International. His cutting & shaping ability targets fresh new styles. His work ethic caught the eye of JLD. Fred was offered a transfer to a brand new salon in Beverly Hills, Ca. He stablished a cliental and traveled to many of his company’s west coast salons from San Diego through to Seattle. Teaching a unique hair cutting technique created by Jean Louis David. He returned to NYC to continue the same path, this time for «The Plaza Hotel.» Reunited with his loyal cliental & continue his teachings of the JLD technique, traveling the east coast of America & Canada. Fred is now working his creations privately. Set at a doorman building in «Hells Kitchen.»
