Crocs

Long story short I’m walking all over 34^th street on a badly sprained ankle that was swelling up with each step I took to the point I needed to stop and go sit down some where fast and I happened upon this Crocs store in the midst of all of this. I walk in and see all these colorful cushiony looking shoes that’s not high on style and really isn’t my idea of fashionable but decided to give these shoes a try considering the condition my feet were in.
A very nice salesman approached me, asked if he could assist me, I showed him my very swollen ankle and pulsating swollen foot, he showed me some Crocs, gave me the rundown on the variety they carried along with style and fit but recommended the classics. I’m thinking to myself this really isn’t my idea of cute but what the heck, I decide to try on a colorful pair of their classics by walking around the store for a bit and this is my AHA moment when I decided that while they aren’t high on style these Crocs are surely high on the comfort & cushion factor and with the pounding my feet are taking on the NYC streets I could use some shoes with better shock absorption for my sprained ankle.
I’ll take it I said to the salesman and to that he said if you buy another pair you get 50% off the 2^nd pair, then I’ll take two pair I said.
Happy feet don’t lie and aren’t looking for style just comfort, so I bought the colorful pair for weekends and errands and a black pair for going to work. The black ones are nice, classic in color and look and both pair feel better with socks on. However looks like I may have to go back for more of these classics because someone in my household decided these shoes were comfortable enough and took over the black Crocs.
Bottom Line — If your on your feet all day, have foot or heel pain, need everyday traveling and walking shoe comfort and find the concrete jungle tough on your feet, you’ll definitely find yourself with lasting comfort while wearing the classic Crocs.
Very nice store, knowledgeable and helpful sales assistance, lots of other Croc shoe styles & colors to choose from, checkout was a breeze, plus they let me sit there a while.

The shoes maybe ugly but the customer service in this place is very good. I was impressed in the clean environment and the friendly store is nice. I would come again. Only thing is they need a sign to say what time the store closes and opens other than that nothing bad about this location from me.

I still think of Crocs as that one ugly shoe they started with. Holy cow, who knew there were dozens (if not 100) different types nowadays. My wife looks for a Crocs shop once per year to get her favorite sandal. This year, thanks to a great sale, she got 3 different colors of her favorite type. She’d never see that before. Great sales associate!
BTW, if you’re upgrading or being ready to ditch your old pair, if you trade in your old pair when getting a new pair, they take those old pair and donate them to international charities and give you like 10−15% off your purchase.

There is soooo much stuff here. I stick with my one pair of favorite croc flops, but there are an abundance of choices if you are in the market for the croc brand shoes!

We visited this store a little after 9pm on Saturday, and they close at 10pm. The staff sounded like they were having drunken parties on both floors, laughing loudly and ignoring customers. While cleaning up they were very loudly and repeatedly discussing how they couldn’t wait to leave.
Additionally, the women’s styles on the floor appeared to only be in sizes 7, 8, and 9. I was able to locate one women’s style in 10 and one in 11 in the whole store. Maybe if they weren’t so busy discussing how eager they were to leave they could have helped me out, and we both would have gotten out of there faster.
Also — bathrooms are on the second floor. There is an escalator and an elevator, in addition to stairs up to the second floor. You must first discover an unmarked door (hint: it’s in the corner, past the elevator and next to another door that requires a keypad) and peep through it in order to find the restrooms in a little back hallway up there. Evidently they are hoping folks don’t use the restrooms.

I guess this store had been open for two months but today was the first day I noticed it. Not sure why it took me so long to notice this space since I work in the area but let me tell you I am officially a Crocs fan!
I live in Manhattan and walk at least two miles a day. I love heels and am always on the lookout for a cute, comfy heel. The Croc heels totally fit my bill.
As an added bonus the staff is really nice, the prices are reasonable and the store is well laid out!
