Overpriced like every bodega, but we all know these kind of stores are about quick convenience… no one is doing their full grocery shopping here. The place is kept very clean and organized, plus they have a great selection — I have gone in here looking for the most random item on multiple occasions and they have had it. Plus, the nicest people work there. My husband and I live in the area and they are always waving, giving us a few free flowers, etc.

So freaking expensive. This place is a total rip off. And sometimes you get the unfriendly man. How are they still in business?

Never thought I would be Unilocaling about a corner bodega. If I can give this place no stars I would. The guy behind the counter, yea you know the one, is an absolute miserable prick and hates life. He will undoubtedly give you back the most crumpled bills in the drawer. Besides this, the place is grossly overpriced. Be aware of broken eggs and milk that is about to expire and minute.

Absolute scam. The cashiers inability to read my licenses led to multiple question about my age(I bought 4 pack– Dogfish head 90 minute IPA). Then he asked if I was paying with cash or credit, I handed him my credit card. There is a sign clearly stating Credit/Debit charges must be over $ 10. I was buying beer and ice cream so I knew it was over the $ 10. After he has my card he says, Oh credit, I have to charge you more for your beer. I pointed at the sign and said«What do you mean, it’s over $ 10?» — He then saying, «I’ve worked at 7-eleven for years, we always added extra for credit orders» — what?! Then hands me my receipt for $ 22.25, FOR A 4PACKANDICECREAMBAR! Not only that, he had me standing at the counter through his questions and bull for nearly 10 minutes. Avoid at all costs. Living close it was convenient but I’ll never go again.
