Established in 1980.

Established in 1980 as primarily a Chinese-​language school, CP Language Institute rapidly expanded into the fields of translation, interpretation, voice-​over, and desktop publishing. Now CPLI does a vast array of language services in almost any spoken language in the world.

Meet the Business Owner

Bing Y.

Business Owner

As CEO and founder of CPLI, Bing brings over twenty-​five years of language services expertise from teaching, interpreting, translating, and consulting. All his life he has been intensively involved in his passion: learning about different cultures and languages. Bing started his career as a teacher in Taiwan, where he taught Chinese at the Yale in China program. He also taught Mandarin at the University of Michigan and at Baruch College in New York. Over the years Bing has worked actively as a business and language consultant in the fields of translation and interpretation.

In the 1980’s he established CP Language as a language services company with translation, interpretation, language courses and audiovisual services. The immediate goal was to offer all these services in as many languages as possible. This is how Bing was able to fulfill his passion for languages and bridge people to have a better understanding of the different cultural and social environments around the world.
