Cordette Pharmacy

This is the best pharmacy I have ever been to. The head pharmacist is so knowledgeable, and really cares about your health and trying to save you money. She is just terrific, as is the entire staff. New York City needs more great places like this.

I love this pharmacy. The people who work there are friendly, and the pharmacy staff are the BEST. They’re attentive, and helpful, and willing to answer questions or try to find you a cheaper alternative if your medication is expensive. I genuinely enjoy going there to get my prescriptions filled!

After being turned away by a major retail pharmacy, I was under the impression that all pharmacists/​techs were under workplace induced apathy. This pharmacy on the other hand reaffirmed my faith in humanity. I walked in and out within a blink of an eye. In fact, I miss it a little bit. The store is welcoming but the rating is based solely on the stellar service.

I really like this pharmacy and drug store. They have homeopathic items and some other hard to find products. Staff is super friendly and helpful and for
Manhattan I’ve found prices to be cheaper than my local drug store in Queens. Great place!

First, I would just like to let everyone know that this pharmacy is under new management as of September 2013.
I came to Cordette on October 30^th with a few prescriptions after visiting my doctor and being diagnosed with a throat infection. My tonsils were swollen to twice their size and apparently I needed a sh*t load of antibiotics because my immune system decided to not do its job –_​– The staff was extremely polite and when I was given my medicine the pharmacist was very attentive and answered all my questions. I don’t particularly enjoy popping pills; I dont do it unless absolutely necessary. Since I was practically dying, I didnt have much of a choice to take the medications. The fact that I had someone to patiently explain to me what they were for, how they work.etc. was especially helpful to me.
Its been over a week now and I’m back to my self again. I will definitely be coming back here again. The new management and staff there have left a very good impression on me, and as an ex CPhT myself, I know exactly what good pharmacy service is supposed to be. PLEASE DO NOT LET THE REPUTATION OF THE PREVIOUS MANAGEMENT AND STAFF SHADOW THE GOOD NATURED PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN OVER! I urge everyone to give them a chance. You wont regret it :)

Absolute dump of a business. Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Better off going to Staples or Duane Reade up the block. Stay away

Lovely alternative to the big chain drug stores! The pharmacists here are personable and take the time to inform you about the usage directions and any things to note while on your prescribed medication. The non-​perscription items are slightly more expensive than sold at the chain stores, but the service makes up for it.
