I’m lucky enough to live on the same street as this amazing spot. Coffee is fantastic, food is fresh and delicious, and the owners are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I recommend the egg sandwiches and roasted veggies. Only flaw is the inconsistent hours!

Saw this breakfast spot featured in the Harlem Bespoke blog earlier this week. Hubby and I were like«Oh, breakfast sandwich with huge slabs of bacon?! This is happening.» Put it on our google calendars for Saturday. Didn’t even let him change after his workout that morning. We called ahead and looked for a website. No one picked up the phone, but there was a standard voicemail message — no mention that they were closed for a private event. Also, didn’t find a website but they have a Facebook profile, so checked that out — no mention they were closed this weekend there either. So hopped on a bus for the 35 minute journey. Walked up and saw the sign that they were closed. SOOOOANNOYING!!! Post a frickin’ message on your FB page or mention it on your vm!!! Especially if you’re just being featured in a blog that week! C’mon– people may really be going out of their way to check you out!

Company on Edgecombe is absolutely amazing. Had a wonderful experience both with the staff and the food. The café is very quaint and the staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend the Egg Sandwich(breakfast is served all day!). If you’re looking for a good place to have a bite that provides fresh food and warm environment Company on Edgecomb is without a doubt a great place.

Amazing breakfast biscuit sandwiches and pastries here. Tom and Billy have expanded from catering only operation to weekends only storefront deelish! Amazing ecceletic mix of customers. Each one with same smile. Worth the trip uptown.

Went to Company on Edgecombe two days in a row for lunch this weekend. What a warm and welcoming place. The food is always better than you’d expect and that is a great thing to happen at a reasonably priced café/restaurant. Word on the street is that weeknight dinner delivery might return this winter. Fingers crossed!

Great apple turnover(cashier said they’re delivered from a bakery in Brooklyn) — flakey with a delicious cinnamony center. Sadly, their iced coffee was a bit off-tasting…not worth $ 4, either. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I’ll be back… but definitely not for coffee. Really cute place, smelled great in there, too. Wish I had more of an appetite.

Sandwich tasted weird and their coffee was suck. Never try this spot again. And they play so loud music

Simply amazing. I had the ham and cheese croissant. Girlfriend and friend got burgers. Coffee and lemonade was on point. Very friendly owners. Beautiful location. Love that they have trays to eat outside on a bench as they wait for their sidewalk license. Prices were reasonable. I hope they stay the same range.

Popped in here for a wonderful quiche at the weekend. The owner was a really nice chap who chatted to us whilst he heated it up. The best quiche I have ever eaten. A real gem.

This place is simply amazing! The staff are so hospitable and friendly. And the food is out of this world. Try the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with Gruyère. The buttermilk chicken sandwich is also fantastic. The only problem is I can’t eat here everyday.

I am so sad that I did not come to this neighborhood gem earlier! I got ice coffee, donut and a ham and cheese croissant. Everything was incredible and the bloke who helped me out was so nice! My only complaint is that it was pretty hot in there but they are planning on changing out a window for a screen so that should improve!

I Know that this neighborhood is changing, but charging $ 10 for bacon, eggs, and Gruyère cheese on a Croissant is just ridiculous. Yes the bread is freshly baked and they probably use expensive bacon and expensive farm eggs and imported Gruyère cheese straight from switzerland, but geez! I gave it a shot thinking that they sold mostly fresh bread and bake goods because I heard that they cater, to buy bread. A bead shop is what this neighborhood needs, stop trying to sell me stuff I could make at home on special occasions after taking a trip to Trader Joe’s. I wanted sourdough dammit!!! Oh, and I did buy some baked good, and meh, I’ve experienced better.

Great addition to the neighborhood! It’s a cute little take out place that does lunches/dinner and pastries. They have a whole host of salads(pasta, curry chicken, etc) for lunch which are delicious. They also do specials I think on the weekends, we had the pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich, which were very tasty. The Morris-Jumel mansion is a block away, which is a nice place to eat lunch outside. Their waffles were also very good!

This place is a godsend to the neighborhood. Superb coffee and fresh-baked treats such as light, perfect croissant; pan au chocolate(terrific); and my favorite: ham & Swiss croissant. And then, later in the day, gourmet meals to go, offered on a rotating basis, with new dishes always on the way: outstanding buttermilk fried chicken, best pulled pork I have ever had, roast chicken, turkey, lamburgers, hangar steak — all perfectly prepared and accented with lovely spices in just the right proportions. And the side dishes, including green salads, potato salad, cole slaw, pasta salad, potato croquettes, beets, and so on. All freshly prepared and heated for you on site, if you wish. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Their catering is personalized and also highly recommended. Delivery and tables on site to come.
