As a member you may use the Community Center seven days a week. The Community Center offers a wide range of opportunities including:

*Dedicated lap swimming in a 75′ x 45′ pool.

*Family swim and open swim programs.

*Swimming, Yoga, Tai Chi, Boxing, Core Fitness, and Cardio Swim classes.

*American Red Cross Babysitting and Lifeguard Courses.

*Dance Studio.

*Fitness Center w/​aerobic cycles and workout machines.

*Badminton, basketball, and handball courts.

*Rentals available for Gym, Dance Studio, and Swimming Pool.

You can participate either through membership or on a class by class basis.

September — June

Monday thru Friday: 7P — 9:45P

Saturday & Sunday: 1P — 8:45P

July — August

Monday thru Friday: 3P — 8:45P

Saturday & Sunday: 10A — 5:45P

History

Established in 2003.

The Community Center at Stuyvesant High School is the result of a unique partnership created by the City of New York, Stuyvesant High School and the Battery Park City Authority. The Community Center offers recreation, classes and events for people of all ages and interests. The Community Center is open to the public evenings and weekends when school is not in session. Because the Center is shared by students, faculty, and community members, certain safety regulations must be followed. Join us in making the Community Center a vital downtown resource.
