Class Carpet first began as a small store in East Meadow, NY. As the business grew, we relocated to a much larger building in Levittown, NY which allowed us to display a wider variety of products.

Currently, we have locations in Manhattan & Levittown, NY.

Most of our customers have known us for a long time and they always come back. They are always very pleased with our level of service, the quality of our work and our prices.

We’ve been serving the Tri-​State area for 25 years. Business Owner

Alex has been in the window covering & flooring industry for almost 25 years. He began with Giant Carpet in 1987 as a Salesman. He learned a wealth of product knowledge, as well as Customer Service skills. He became very interested in flooring, design and helping people find the kind of flooring they want at affordable prices. A few years later, he began growing more interested in the aspects of Business Ownership and then decided to open his very 1st store in East Meadow, NY called Class Carpet.

His passion for window covering, flooring, design, customer service and above all, building lasting relationships with his customers is what keeps him going after all these years, and drives his success for almost 25 years as the Owner of Class Carpet.

We needed just a few tiles to replace those that we lost to plumbing repairs. Class Carpet & Interiors had a great selection and Kevin helped us pick out a perfect match.

A bathroom flood destroyed the laminate in a hallway and the carpet in a bedroom. After working out details with the insurance company, I wanted to use local dealer (UWS) rather than a box store. Read good things online about CCI.
Met with Robert who took his time and explained things as well as gave me a reasonable price for both a new laminate floor, carpeting for the bedroom and installation. Worked out tentative dates. CCI also provided the insurance documents my building — a coop — requires. The dates and times were subsequently solidified (delivery of materials, schedule of workmen). Someone from CCI — Robert, Georgia — was always available to answer any questions or resolve any (minor) issues.
Carpet was installed first. Workers moved furniture and completed the room in about two and a half hours. Floor installation was much more complicated — lots of edges — and took much longer. Different workers but fully prepared regarding necessary tools (including a power saw). They worked for almost nine hours installing the floor, including a terrific job cleaning all the walls and other surfaces where dust had accumulated. They also moved a large piece of furniture.
All four workers were friendly and extremely competent. They worked constantly with hardly any breaks. The end result for both the hallway and bedroom are excellent and I would highly recommend Class Carpet and Interiors to all my UWS neighbors.

i discovered Class Carpet last December when I had to vacate my last office on short notice because my landlord sold the property and gave me 4 weeks notice to vacate. I was in a panic, of course. Luckily, I found an office just blocks away on 86th street and I bounded into Class Carpets for an emergency fix: I needed blinds and carpeting in a hurry. Kevin, Georgia and Robert were a tremendous help. Georgia came to my office for measurements and threw in a few decorating tips, free of charge. They remind me of the Mom + Pop businesses of yesterday who made personal attention a business priority. P. S.— The blinds arrived when promised and the carpet arrived earlier than promised. This is a Class operation.

After what seemed like months of researching different carpets in multiple carpet stores, internet and the corporate giant chain stores, who would have thought the best selection of highest quality carpets at comparable prices, would be in one of the local stores around to corner? I couldn’t be happier with these guys and so glad we chose Class carpet for our building’s carpet, baseboards and tile installation project. From Georgia to Kevin to Robert; they were all so helpful, friendly, and patient with me. Especially, Georgia, whom I call a problem solver, was excellent to deal with from the very first time we met and handled every single issue/​question with a friendly attitude and professionally. She not only provided us multiple options with different grades of carpets, but also went out of her way to order different carpet brands for us to compare just because we wanted to see the difference in quality — of course we ended up choosing one of the very first carpet samples she had ordered for us. We had to coordinate timing of each job because we were using a different vendor for the paint job but Georgia made it easy for us and was very cooperative. She scheduled our tile job first, and then waited for the painter to finish up his work, then sent the guys to remove the carpet 3 weeks later, and then scheduled the carpet and baseboard installation when we were finished with the paint job. Throughout the project, she answered a million questions with a smile.
I highly recommend Class carpet, the building hallways look amazing. It is so nice to know there are still local neighborhood businesses that can offer high quality products, comparable pricing to the chains and the internet and excellent customer service. Thanks Georgia and the team for all your help on this long project, it was such a pleasure to work with you guys. I would recommend you to everyone without hesitation. Lastly, it was such a treat to be greeted by little Miss Chloe — Georgia’s little dog, each time I went into the store.

I needed a long-​needed paint job, wood floor prep and polyurethane, and a 9X12 carpet cleaning, and Class Carpet & Interiors was able to suggest vendors and then coordinate all the elements excellently. Georgia took care of all the paperwork needed for my coop board’s approval. They are more than «carpet cleaning» and should be utilized for all elements of apartment/​house upgrading. I definitely will turn to Georgia and Class Carpet again when I need more work in my home.

I called Class to replace my bathroom floor. I initially spoke to Kevin, who answered a ton of questions. I purchased my tiles a few days later, and they were installed less than 2 weeks after that.
I did not give them 5 stars, as the installer needed to come back to do the corking, which should have been done the same day as the installation. I called to complain, and Georgia called me back and had the guy here the very next day. Not a major issue because my schedule is flexible, but would have been annoyed if I had to take off from work.
The floor looks really nice and aside from the minor annoyance about the corking — all-​in-​all they did a very good job. Would use them again.

Georgia is a mess. Smokes, has her dog with her in the shop at all times, absent-​minded, no follow-​up, blames everyone else for her lack of initiative. Don’t bother. You’ll get poor service and get blamed for everything she does wrong.

My friend in the condo above me had really nice remote controlled shades installed. They were so nice I had to get the exact same shades installed as well. I called Class Carpet & Interiors and arranged for the blinds to be installed. The process to get this done was done with the utmost professionalism. Step 1 was the appointment to get the measurements done. Step 2 was the installation. In both cases the person arrived at the exact time that was agreed upon. I was very happy with the new remote controlled blinds and I am happy to recommend this company to everyone.

My husband grew up on Long Island, and he new Class Carpet store as good place to go to for carpet or rugs. I tested it myself last month. First of all I really liked the choice and then Alex’s prices are great! I got my rugs at the city location. What a Great experience. After looking for a company to come and refinish the Hardwood Floors in my apartment with no satisfaction, I finally located and talked to Kevin Sayadfar at Class Carpet & Interiors. We talked for a while on the phone and he put me at ease that they were more than capable and willing to do my floors. Kevin even worked with me on my tight schedule. The two workers that came were timely and courteous. Each stage of the process the workers kept my wife and I updated on what they were doing. The two floors were in terrible shape. They had glued stick on tiles on them for 30 years. Now both floors are absolutely beautiful and they were completed in only one day. This was so painless that my wife wants to get another part of the house done later this season. Two thumbs up and thanks a lot Kevin.
