This location sits directly adjacent to City Hall and City Hall Park in Civic Center, Downtown Manhattan. I have been utilizing this branch for many years during my college years and post-​college years of working in the Financial District. The ATM foyer area is quite large space as bank patrons do not feel overwhelm crowded.
Note: This branch is closed Saturdays and NO teller service is available.

I went there today and the teller was very unfriendly, plus I had to (twice) repeat what I’d told her. The reason why I’m only downgrading my rating to four stars instead of three is because I had such a positive experience there the last time.
(Update on 11÷24÷14): I went there early this morning and the teller was the same wonderful one from my initial visit. I feel torn about my rating, but I’m keeping it at four stars for now because of my negative experience the second time.

I’ve got to say that the location is right across the street from City Hall isn’t really a shining star. Just your run of the mill.
I was discontented by the tellers continuously telling me to rate them well for customer service that was not very friendly, nor better than par that they were asking me to rate them for in a customer service survey I was supposed to receive on-​line.

I work hard for my money. Every penny of it. It really gets on my nerves when the teller who represents the bank I put my money in, has no respect. Especially when I pay $ 25 a month for maintenance.
He doesn’t say please, or thank you. He mutters, huh, and yeah. I ask him a question, he brushes it off, «Don’t ask me, I don’t know». The girl starts chatting with the person next to her, and erroneously debits my account and has the audacity to tell the banker who opened my account she referred me. Woman, you pointed me in the direction. I asked you where it was, you turned around and pointed. That’s it. You didn’t even meet and greet me. WTF?
In this day and time, I really hate to see young professionals slack off and take advantage of the fact they have a job. There are so many other people with common sense, appreciate having a job, work harder, and have respect. Such a shame. Real shame.
I hate to think what such negligence and lack of moral will do to my money…
