Cindy Lai Fitness Boot camp offers a fun and challenging group environment with focus on more individualized attention. Learn to use your own bodyweight, build your strength and endurance with explosive movements, calisthenics, aerobic, balance, and core strength combined into one workout! Change up your routine and shock your body to get better results. Stop doing the same boring routine. If you’re not challenging yourself, why bother? For an even greater challenge, dare to come to kettlebell boot camp and be prepared to sweat. Everyone learns to work together and encourage each other to the best of their capabilities. All levels are welcome and positive energy only. Classes are held indoors during the winter or rain. As soon as the weather starts to warm up, classes will be held off Central Park and Columbus Circle during the week. Kettlebell classes will be held off the West Side Highway below 14th street. Let’s get ready to rock 2010 into your best shape yet.

Established in 2009.
Cindy Lai Fitness boot camp was born with the goal of establishing a fun, creative and motivating environment for a smaller group of individuals to encourage and push each other to the best of their physical capabilities. As a Personal trainer at Crunch Fitness for years, Cindy saw the need for a group dynamic which does not always work for the individual. Some people simply do not like gyms or machines or prefer the outdoors in terms of working out. There’s nothing better than a breath of fresh air while you’re running, squatting, lunging, bear crawling, crab walking outdoors and getting away from your stale office environment. Also after working with kettlebells for several years, Cindy loved the very functional and effective workout it provided. In every day life, you are dealing with imbalanced objects such as carrying bags, picking up your kids, and moving objects. Substitute those movements with kettlebells movements for «all in one» intense form of exercise.

My background as an NASM certified personal trainer for over the last 6 years has given me great opportunities to diversify my skills. As a person who gets bored with your traditional boring routines, I like to combine my knowledge in strength training methods, capoeira, muay thai, boxing, kickboxing, kettlebells, and pilates into one fun workout especially for boot camp. I’m not a drill sergeant but I WILL push you hard, You’ll have fun while you’re working out which is the philosophy behind my training
