CIBTvisas – Visa and Passport Service

No, the most shocking part was the Invoice. I was not aware of the hidden charges that CIBT does not even mention once. I was charged same day submission fees when my application was not even submitted the same day. Since my application was complete, it was easier to submit it the next day which it was but then why was I charges $ 55 for same day submission.
Another charge for Foreign National fees for $ 50. I am a US resident then why do I need to pay foreign national fees when the whole point of getting a visa is because I am a Foreign National. If I was US National then I would not even need a visa.
Now, I take the trouble of filing the form and on top of it I need to pay $ 20 for offline order. This is ridiculous way of making money. It takes a minute to scan the document.
Overall, I believe I was charged $ 125 extra without any strong reasons. It seemed more of money making strategy and not customer service.
I am highly unsatisfied with the invoice as I paid for Priority Service so CIBT could pick-​up/​drop-​off my application. I pay CIBT 114 $ for just carrying my application and on top of everything these ridiculous hidden charges. I should make people aware of such charges.

SAVE YOUR MONEY and go to the embassy yourself. They do nothing for you out of the normal process that the embassy needs. They wouldn’t dream of picking up the phone to return a call or to resolve an issue either. There are other services you can use, don’t waste your time or money with CIBT.

This place is horrendous. The staff are a bunch of low-​class losers who seem to think the best way to provide service is to bark, «CHECK OUR WEBSITE.» They’re unhelpful, rude and they basically could care less whether you live or die. Apparently, since they’re in midtown, they’re used to dealing with asshole bankers and feel they need to act in kind. Avoid this place. It’s a sleazy, disgusting office populated with the dregs of humanity. You will get rude service, if anything, and if you show up at their office, they’ll show you the door. The large white haired asshole at the desk barked over and over, «CHECK THE WEBSITE.» Um, I did check the website: Unilocal.Enjoy, douchebag.

I have used this service for the past two years for my firm, and have always received the visa/​passport I requested in time. They have also never lost anything I submitted. They are expensive, but that is the nature of this service, so I don’t think they are more expensive than others. They receive two stars because of their horrible rudeness and customer service. This company really needs to re-​examine how they do business. I have spoken to everyone, and they all are quite rude. Susan is the nicest and best person to speak to.

I’m devoting a small amount of energy to making sure this place goes out of business.
I called to ask a question about visa paperwork, and was rushed off the phone. When I brought it in, I was told by the (overweight, undereducated) owner that I «clearly didn’t listen or read the website», handed a slip of paper with the URL, and asked to leave. Before the elevator found its way up to the (grimy, cramped) office, he started ridiculing me to his colleague.
Pay it forward; don’t come here.

There is always some additional charge… they only handle cash and they are rude, rude, rude. BTW the place is disgustingly dirty. Be prepared it is not a pleasant experience
