Chipotle Mexican Grill

I’m half embarrassed to write this review at this point in time… because it means I still go here even after all the news articles have scared the long lines away. I LOOOOVE Chipotleeeee and I can’t even hide it.

Love Chipotle. It’s a great chain/​franchise. My favorite meat choice is the carnitas then the steak. I always prefer the bowl over the burrito but that’s me. My friends love the grilled chicken. It does have a nice char on it. Their guacamole is great and can’t get enough of it. Lots of side items to choose from. Try them all.
I’ve been to many locations and none have been bad. But do note, not all locations have carnitas (pork). You can tell by my reviews that I’m a total carnivore AND love pork especially. Lol

This seemed like the ‘not ready for Chipotle players’. My preparer had a hard time with wrapping the Burrito, it became a burrito bowl/​plate when I ate it. Was glad that it wasn’t crowded, however, two people making food and no one at the register… had to wait a bit to pay… all good though. BUT the worst part was the woman cleaning the bathroom, I opened the door that read VACANT on the lock; I guess I knocked her bucket over (?) and I was told ‘you should look’ as she pointed to a FOLDED UP YELLOW CAUTION SIGN 5 FEET FROM THE DOOR. I told her ‘No, you should lock the door and put the sign in front of it’. She slammed the door and then locked it. Really? It was dinner hour and to be honest — there were tables in dire need of cleaning to boot.

I read a lot about them, being the healthy fast food option etc. and they didn’t disappoint at all! Great choices, I had the vegi option and it was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Good for family! Nicer and healthier than average fast food, but still very fast and comfortable. The atmosphere is somehow very casual. Nice spent time.

I went on a weeked and it was very crowded. Maybe this has impacted the ratings for ambience and hygiene. Had rice bowl with sofritas, chips with gucamole and really nothing to complain about. However this is such a popular place and i had heard a lot about it so
was expecting better.

I had a burrito bowl with rice, steak and all toppings. I also had the guacamole with chips. The Guac with chips were not worth the $ 3.89, but the bowl certainly was worth the $ 9+! Steak with rice and toppings = great combination.
This place was insane during lunch today! The line was out the door but I was able to get service within fifteen minutes of standing in line. My friend was able to adversely possess a table while I was in line. It turns out that most people take the food «to go» anyway, which is good because we had nowhere else to dine.
Staff is extremely friendly!
The décor feels clean. The rush hour only lasts about 30 minutes, from 12 to 1230, and I bet there’s another rush from 1 to 130.
I might actually return.

This Chipotle is near my office, and I have occasionally had lunch here over the years.
This Chipotle is the same as other Chipotles. You basically are on an assembly line where various workers construct your meal as per your order. While that description may sound bad, the process can be fun.
And the end product is usually very delicious. I generally like to order the salad bowls. The toppings are wonderful. And the workers will tell you this, but, yes, they charge extra for guacamole.
Like other Chipotles, if you come here during lunch, you will have to wait on a long line. Fortunately, the workers here are friendly and efficient.
This Chipotle does not have as much seating as others, so it is better as a take-​out place.
And, yes, they have raised their prices. If you want to spend less for burritos, there are delis in the area that will make them. However, you do get a lot for your money at Chipotle, and the burritos here do taste better.

Great service, friendly staff.
They operate extremely efficiently here and churn through the customers very quickly. Even so, there’s always a tremendous line starting around 11:30am. Try to avoid coming at the obvious meal times to save yourself the wait.

The food here is decent, I’d rather eat this than Mc Donalds .this location wasn’t too busy when I arrived. The tables need to be wiped down as u can tell it stays busy here .I paid 9.75 for burrito.

Similar to my review of another Chipotle location, this is standard like all of its locations. Quick service. Limited seating though — it’s all bar stool seating.

One of my favorite fast food spots goes to Chipotle! It never fails to satiate my tummy. I love the fun and delicious combinations that I get to choose and create. Every time is a new and exciting experience, but I have been getting the burrito bowl a lot lately. Even though the chef rolls the burrito nicely and tightly, I somehow manage to make a mess (#messyeater). Also, what I love about Chipotle is that it is VERY CONSISTENT! I’ve had it in Maryland, Jersey, and New York, and it’s always the same! Same high quality, same delicious flavors, same good feelings.
I’ve been hearing a lot about the new tofu ingredient, but I haven’t gotten a chance to try it yet. I’m definitely coming by soon to check it out!

The food is not the same as before. I missed my fellow hard working friendly Mexican staff that were behind the kitchen and serving customers. The customer service now sucks! The staff constantly talks over each other in a disrespectful way. Not pleasant to hear and very unprofessional. The staff is always joking around pushing each other around. Can you just freakin focus and take my order!!!
Ugh. Something that also always happens that I’ve noticed:
Staff: «what kind of meat would you like»?
Customer: «chi…»
Staff: bla bla bla bla bla loco!!! Bla bla bla «what kind of meat would you like»?
Myself when I was in this situation: «Well maybe if you would be paying attention, maybe you would’ve heard me the first time.»
I also witnessed one of the employees smacking a female employees «butt» in this location. If that’s what they do in front of customers, I don’t want to imagine what they do behind the kitchen or to the food.

BEST Chipotle EVER. If you want a real NY experience, come here. The lines are always out the door during lunch time, but it’s so worth it. The workers are nice and fast and efficient. Choice of a burrito, a rice bowl, salad bowl, chicken, pork, steak, u name it!

Super friendly staff and big portions! Will be returning to this location next time I’m around here

I came in to get the Tofu bowl on a Saturday afternoon last month.
It was as empty as it is on East Midtown as it can be.
They don’t stuff the bowls as the other Chiptoles.
I’m not a heavy meat eater, but they just gave me 5 strands of lettuce and closed it really quick before I can even request for more lettuce.
Tofu bowl was good, but I would def go to another Chipotle if I was in the mood for the food from this chain.

Consistency is what builds brands and Chipotle has definitely done this. Simple but delicious and it hits the spot every time. I was in the city and felt like I deserved a «treat» so I headed over here. Don’t be afraid by the fact that the line is to the door as it moves very quickly. Do a bit of texting, answer some e-​mails and before you know it you’ll be at the front of the line.
Quick, fast, quality and priced right.

You already know the chipotle deal. Tasty complete meal for less than $ 10. Fast service and patient employees. Plenty of seating and clean restaurant.
Shout out to the guy who gave me extra guacamole when I asked politely. Guac is the quickest way to my heart.

You’ve got so many Chipotles downtown, if feels like everyone walking in Midtown must have a 1200 calorie burrito shoved into their briefcase.
Here’s to your burrito bowls, spicy corn salsa and grilled vegetables on command! Kudos for using humanely raised animals and local organic ingredients! Down with cheese that never melts and chips you must pay extra for. Up with your Corona with a wedge of lemon! Yes its fast food, but (except for the astronomical calorie counts) its not evil.

Dear Chipotle,
To be perfectly honest I prefer Qdoba. I like their lime/​cilantro rice, black beans and chicken more, but I like your nachos way more. You both sell beer, you both make ginormous burritos and I think you guys are a little cheaper.
You’re also close to my office whereas Qdoba is a 6 block walk. You guys play awesome music — no seriously, Cults? Scissors for Lefty? Altered Images? (That last one was Shazam-​ed as I made sweet, sweet love to one of your black bean grilled chicken burritos).
Good music, good food — I’ve never had anything here other than your nachos, steak and chicken burritos and beverages… which don’t count since they come pre-​bottled. Your lunch line between 11:45am-2:30pm tends to suck and move at a turtle’s pace, however this is simply a testament to how tasty your food it and so since it’s worth it, I will deal.
Chipotle, I don’t love you, but I really, really like you. You’re a good, fast place where I can get money at a reasonable price and get my Mexican food fix (when a Qdoba isn’t around, yanno — at least I’m being honest) — for this I salute you. Gracias Chipotle!
