I took the sesame chicken that was on their special menu for around $ 6⁄7 and for that price it can’t get better really. They only take cash so be ready for that.

The guy who takes the orders is rude, can’t understand what I am saying and gets nasty with me. How about coming into the 21st century with caller ID so you don’t have to ask my phone number every time I call OR, better yet, convert to an online order system. The lady who took orders for many years was very nice, bring her back or someone comparable.

My co-worker and I ordered lunch for«pick-up.» Five minutes later we realized we had a schedule conflict so I called to cancel. I was told that the food was already ready(gross). I asked if they could deliver it, he said yes. We are pretty much completely out of the way which is why we were going to pick it up. I don’t have cash so I asked if I could pay by phone with a card. He said, «cash only.» Fine, I borrowed from someone. It then took 1hr and 9min for the delivery to show up. I called after 44 min and was told he left already. It would take 20min to get to me by walking. There’s no reason that, with the food being READY, it should take over an hour to deliver. I inhaled the food when it arrived so I can’t say that it was entirely worth it but my co-worker was sure that THEIR sesame chicken is the best she’s had. Never again.

It does the trick if you’re craving Chinese and want cheap take-out. But the food I’ve tried so far(Chicken Chow Mein and Chicken Lo Mein) is quite bland.

I used to frequent this place and found their food to be ok. I hadn’t been back there in a few months and today I went there during the busy lunch hour. I noticed a new woman at the counter in addition to the two guys I recognized. The two guys went back to the kitchen, leaving only the woman at the counter. Despite the place being busy, she didn’t do anything, just making annoyed faces. It took her a while to finally take my order. I ordered the usual kung po chicken. It came to $ 6.50. Long story short, I gave her $ 12 as I had a flat wallet so I didn’t want to carry many $ 1 bills around. I expected to receive $ 5.50 back from her. She gave me $ 3.50 back. When I told her she kept raising her voice and gave me mean faces saying«why you give me 12» repeatedly. I stayed calm and tried to be polite and told her I didn’t want too many $ 1 bills. She kept shouting at me that it didn’t make sense for me to pay $ 12, despite me telling her a lot of times why. So instead of the thief giving me my money back, she made me the thief, thank you very much. I told her I didn’t want to scam her and want her money. She didn’t say anything and walked away but kept looking and making bitchy faces at me. Monday was already bad and I definitely didn’t need someone who wanted to steal my $ 2 to ruin my day so I got my food and left. Hope my $ 2 buys her a lot of nice things. I know this is not the kind of business that cares about Unilocal reviews or customer service in general and I know that sophisticated Unilocalers can do better than this, but a 1-star Unilocal review is all a person who tried to be polite can do.

I came here Thursday after running errands in the area later than I expected. When I passed by here there was still time to get their lunch special. I ordered the sa cha shrimp lunch special with brown rice and egg roll. The shrimp had carrots and other vegetables and nice big shrimp. It was hot but I still asked for hot sauce.

Ugh. I have a high tolerence for bad Chinese take out but the lunch I got here today was so remarkably bad that I’m actually taking the time to post a review, something I never, ever do. They gave me the wrong(more expensive) lunch special. I ordered Gen Tso’s chicken, thinking it was probably a popular choice and therefore safe.(Last time I got the boneless ribs– giant mistake!) The chicken was so tough and dry and so totally unedible that even now I am tempted to wrap it up and take it back to them in order to… I’m not sure what but I just feel like confronting them on this nonesense. I had one bad experience here but thought hey, everyone can have a bad day, so I gave them another chance and it was even worse the second time around. Plus, the fella behind the counter is surly and doesn’t even pretend to be grateful to customers for their patronage. With so many other nearby lunch options, you are much better off going somewhere else.

I had the worst food craving ever a few nights ago. I didn’t want Chinese food — I needed it. I could barely fall asleep. I dreamt about Chinese food. The next day, it was all I thought about. I know this sounds ridiculous, but this is what happens when you don’t eat something for 2 years. This place was close by, and cheap, so that was good enough. The place is dingy, dirty, and poorly lit. I could barely understand the woman who took my order. Still, my order came out quickly. I nearly ran home with my food, so excited to dig in. I was pretty disappointed. I feel like Chinese is either a hit or miss, and this was a miss. Still, it quelled my craving. I would maybe go back, but I’ll look for better.

Ordered a meal that was delivered 5 minutes before they closed and they forgot an entire plate and refused to send another plate because they claimed they were already closed. And the wonton soup was horrible. Be careful before u order and stay away from the wonton soup.

They wanted to charged me and extra 50 cents for gravy on the side for Vegetable Egg foo young, when I was questing the guy behind the ccounter he was very rude and he took the food back. So the idiot rather not sell the food and lost a good customer the give good customer service and say next time. The 50 cents Was for the container. OMG I usually bring more then one person with me ago he lost more them one customer. Any chinese restaurant I visit automatically put the gravy on the side or the egg foo young. and if they don’t that would do it without charging any extra. So the guy need too know customer service or he will not be in business long

My take-out or call for delivery place, for cheap, good Cantonese food. Typical, but great lunch specials with fried rice that are a bit more unique than just a beef with broccoli type dish. Generous portions, efficient staff. Fast delivery and the food is always hot!

Small place, cheap food, but not the BEST take out I’ve ever had. I had their sesame chicken lunch special and the portion was nice and big but it tasted more like ginger than sesame chicken. I didn’t like the taste of their sauces compared to other Chinese places. It not the stuff you would get addicted to.

Every time I call when ordering. The other waiter is a male teacher. Super bad attitude is not like him at home every time.

this is a decent chinese fast food location in the city. their price is good and their food is not too sweet or salty… just right their portions are good too. and they dont use as much fillers(starch and heavy batter or sauce) to mask their dishes. however, one time i ordered shrimp w/lobster sauce and got some crazy allergic reaction. I usually have really bad allergies from SUPERCHEAP shrimp… i guess that was one of them… so i guess their quality of ingredients is in question but hey, it’s chinese take out, what u expect?

Fast delivery, beyond nice delivery guy. Food was still piping hot and so delicious. Ordered egg rolls and seasons chicken and would highly recommend. Travel from west coast for«ny Chinese» each year and love this place. Important note: cash only.

Lunch time calls upon something Chinese as it was a Chinese holiday — Mid-Autumn Festival 中 秋 節 Zung1 cau1 zit3(Zhōng qiū jié). One small order of Haa1 Lou1 Min6(Shrimp Lo Mein) at $ 5.95 was mediocre as the shrimp was microscopic small and overloaded with too much cabbage for vegetable, at least the noodles itself was not entirely swimming with grease and oil. Overall quality of food was okay, nothing worth«ahh» nor wow about. Quality of food is not always consistent to be the same. My order is ready within ten minutes of cook prep time. Service is friendly. A microphone at the register calls out orders to the cook staff behind them. Minimal seating available and tables are not clean. I recommend eating at your workplace. Notes: Cash only(no form of plastic is accepted) Primary Fukinese speaking + English speaking Chopsticks furnished upon request only Clientele mainly serve non-Chinese

Food is average for an average kinda Chinese Take-Out. [T-O] Cash only. The tables are not clean, I repeat, NOTCLEAN. So I suggest using one of their oversized menus to use as a cover for your sitting area. The food is decently priced like other T-O around the area. I just found it very entertaining when the old lady says your order on the speaker for the chefs to hear. It’s just one of the slowest cantonese speaking person you will hear. I understood them. They speak Mandarin as well. I believe FJ as well. They have big portions when you order the non-lunch specials. Non-lunch specials are in the bigger containers. The lunch specials are in those plastic ones which is smaller. They don’t tell you that. I just figured it out by observing. My two stars isn’t to rate them bad. Just an overall rating including the environment. I did experienced better, but this place is still pretty good.

I like the price. All the tofu tastes like freezer but I keep eating it because I’m a sucker! Sometimes there’s a place to sit and sometimes not.
