Fast and painless. Pricey, but service is top notch.

Service is ok. A Chinese visa itself these days costs about $ 199 dollars, and if you do it through China Visa services, they charge an extra $ 150 approx, bringing your total to a little under $ 400.
They are professional enough, but honestly, I’m not sure the price is worth it. It’s pretty easy to get your own Chiense visa, provided you are willing to stand in line at the consulate for about an hour.

Been traveling to China for quiet a few years and making the visa (on my own or with other agencies) was always a pain.
With them tho all different story!
They tell you exactly what you need to provide for them, and for probably the cheapest prize in NY you are guaranteed to have your Visa really quickly.

China, all we want to do is fall into your arms and blow a bunch of cash at casinos and revolving rooftop restaurants. Why you gotta make it so hard?
I’m not going to recap the whole thing. Suffice it to say, the Chinese consulate was very interested in our desire to visit their country, to travel by overnight trains instead of flights, to make up our itinerary as we go. Verrrry interested. The fact that I’m a journalist probably earned us some extra scrutiny. Luckily Kayllen from CVSC saved the day. It took her 5 attempts over 2 weeks to get our visa application approved, but she did it. We’re headed East on Thursday. A big adventure. YOLO, right? Three cheers for Kayllen, that woman is intrepid!

Amazing and wonderful. At first, I went about applying for a visa alone. Little did I know that not only was I missing many requirements, but that I was about to waste a lot of time and money going about it. After turning to Kayllen and her team however, I was able to receive guidance and good service from them so that I received my visa in just four business days. CVSC is a good business with good service and a good price. I’m on my way to China with comfort and joy thanks to them.

I found China Visa Service Center while in a state of complete panic. I am a dual citizen of Taiwan and the US and originally intended to get my visa using my special passport for Taiwanese citizens for my first business trip with my company. A day before my flight, I realized it was expired. I got turned away from the consulate for not having the updated application form and they couldn’t guarantee a processing time, making it difficult for me to change my itinerary. I found Kayllen on Unilocal and went to her office. I filled out the correct form on the computer right there and she checked over all my materials thoroughly, and told me I could scan and email anything that was missing to her. She also said the quickest they could turn it around was 24 hours for an additional fee and told me it would be ready on Thursday by 1pm. Sure enough, before 1pm on Thursday I got the call saying my visa was ready. I picked it up in person and made it to China in time for my meetings. Terrific service! Highly recommended for anyone who doesn’t have time to deal with the ridiculous bureaucracy at the consulate.

After waiting 20 minutes for the M42 and watching the traffic slowly crawl across 42^nd street during midday traffic, I knew there was no way I was going to make it to the Chinese Consulate way out on 12^th Ave aka Pluto (let alone get through security and the long line to hand in my visa app– and probably get turned away because of some i I forgot to dot) during my lunch hour.
Thank god for CVSC. These guys are efficient professionals who work at a lightning speed. I dropped by their conveniently located midtown office without an appointment and Kayllen quickly went through my materials (for both me and my mom) in less than 10 minutes. As expected, I was missing some information (and probably would’ve been turned away at the Consulate– good thing I didn’t go!) and Kayllen was able to tell me exactly what else I needed to get my tourist visa. She even provided me with a sample invitation letter (only needed for those who want a 2 year multi-​entry tourist visa and have relatives in China) and pointed me to the CVSC website which contained a very clear itemized list of materials that need to be provided to the Consulate. CVSC’s website was/​is very impressive– it’s far more thorough and easy to read than the Chinese Consulate’s website. I went back to my office, e-​mailed Kayllen the missing information and by the next morning, I received an e-​mail from CVSC stating that our passports and visa apps had been submitted to the Consulate. The Chinese work QUICK! In less than a week, I received a call from Kayllen saying our passports (with the 2 year multi-​entry visas– which btw, most other tourist visa places won’t bother to allow you to apply for even though it’s the same price as a one year visa because they want you to apply every year and exploit you!) were ready. And just like that– we had our visas in hand with no headache whatsoever.
I also want to add– I called the CVSC customer service number twice– and on both occasions had very pleasant, frustration-​free exchanges. No wait time. No BS. Final note, CVSC’s price can’t be beat. Regular (unexpedited) service is $ 50 plus the $ 140 Consulate visa fee. Not sure why a place like CIBT (with apparently far worse service) is charging twice the amount. There’s also currently a special for Unilocalers– if you call in, they’ll knock an extra ten bucks off. Best forty bucks I’ve spent in a long while!
