I’ve been a Schwab client for years, and overall I like the company very much. But I attended a workshop today that was a complete waste of time. The person running it is very green and lacks knowledge. It seemed like this was a training exercise for him. Unfortunately, it was at the cost of the client. I wish that they would conduct their training in-​house [amongst themselves, and not with the clients’ valuable time].

Charles Schwab is just fantastic. They work with integrity and straight-​forwardness. A friend transferred money from Switzerland, and couldn’t believe how great Schwab is.
I just switched all my checking over to Schwab because TD bank kept really jerking me around. All ATMs, world wide, are free. (The refund the fees of other ATMs, worldwide!) They are no currency conversion fees. Checks are free. They don’t surprise you with stuff you didn’t expect. I’ve had my ROTH is Schwab for ages, and always been impressed. But with all the other banks getting downright evil, I just switched everything over to them. If you don’t have a good, locally owned, competent credit union, Schwab is your only option.
