A good dentist, thank you Lord.
Changed my insurance so I could go to dr. Wexler.
His staff was great. His hygienist was phenom.
He used a lot of state of the art equipment.
He’s been there for 30 years. He doesn’t see dollar bills on my chiclets, and I appreciate that.
Will refer him to my friends and family.

lets put it this way!.. I flew all the way from Denver, colorado to see him. It was worth the round trip airfare. Office folks great and understanding. Dr Wexler personable and very professional.

Stay away from this place, you have receptionist that clearly doesn’t want to do their job. Find somewhere else to go

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wexler’s for over 15 years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The level of care is top-​notch and the office is run with efficiency and warmth by Marcia Blair Meyers. It’s a place I always look forward to visiting.

I had a root canal done with Dr. Wexler, and it was the worst experience ever. I got a few shots of novacaine, but could still feel pain when he was operating. I repeatedly told him of my discomfort and he was very condescending in his demeanor, and was very rough. Months after the operation, my tooth is still hurting. I have been to a lot of dentists because I have moved several times, and have had one other root canal in the past, but I have never left a dentist feeling so uncomfortable and unhappy. Dr. Wexler was cold, insensitive, and arrogant, and was most concerned about following through with the operation so that he could charge for it. I would not recommend him to anyone.

This is – by far – the most friendly, high-​tech, professional, honest, and thorough dental office I’ve visited in years.

My experience is always pleasant, especially considering its the dentist… Marcia is extremely polite and friendly. I have been going here for two years… I recommended it to my sister and recommend it to everyone.

If I could give no stars, I would.
Extremely rude female receptionist, which I can only take as a sign of lack of professionalism and bad things to come. Her tone changed slightly for the better when I indicated my insurance provider/​program but I decided not to make an appointment at all.

Just a quick update… more than two years later, he is still my go-​to dentist. My fillings are still holding up, and I enjoy the professionalism of every employee there, as well as Dr. Wexler of course.
Four things I love about this dentist:
–The office is able to accommodate my hectic work schedule with evening and Sunday appointments.
–They are available off-​hours during emergencies.
–They really care about the well-​being of their patients.
–The work is always efficient and when there is a problem, Dr. Wexler shows with great detail what is happening and what needs to be done.
That’s it. What else do you need in a dentist?

Dr. Wexler, Marcia, and the team were great. I recently had a root canal procedure and a crown put in place. I hadn’t been to a dentist in a long time due to fairly nerve wracking experiences long in the past. They never made me feel «weird» about being so uncomfortable in the beginning.
One thing I took away from this office is that everyone is very aware and goes out of the way to treat you as you should be treated. The Dr. asked how much or little detail I wanted about my root canal procedure and made sure I knew what I needed to. He very thoroughly answered my questions and let me watch as his technology rendered and later milled the new tooth. Very fascinating.
I’ve recommended a few of my close friends who also do not «like the dentist» to Dr. Wexler’s office. Strange to say, but I’m looking forward to going back for cleanings and to improve my dental health.

I decided to go to a dentist near my home where there is not a shortage of offices to choose from. I chose Dr. Wexler because of the positive reviews I had read online. He and his staff were great. They made me feel very comfortable and he even responded to an email that I sent him about my dental issue. The office was clean and had up to date equipment. I did not have the opportunity to meet Michelle, the hygenist yet but I’m sure I will be satisfied with her work as well.

Marcia, Mychelle, and Dr. Wexler are an amazing team! It’s a rarity when a patient can actually say that they LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist. Marcia is efficient at scheduling your visits and she sends reminders via email; Mychelle is the best hygienist I have ever had — thorough, knowledgable, and friendly with a sense of humour; and Chaim is what you’d expect from a dentist — no nonsense and asks the right questions. I highly recommend this dentistry team who I’ve been seeing for over 3 years. Location is accessible as well by the A and 1 trains near 190^th.

I’m still considered a ‘newbie’ to New York, but am certainly no stranger to the painstaking process of trying to find a good dentist.
Mission accomplished.
Dr. Wexler and his staff could not have been any more pleasant or professional. Dr. Wexler was thorough and kind, Marcia made making an appointment a breeze, Mychelle, his dental hygienist was beyond knowledgeable about what she was doing, gave me tips on how to keep my teeth pearly white and made sure my goodie bag was full of. well…goodies. Oh how I still love getting those bags of floss and toothbrushes. Maybe I’m easily amused, but the fact that I can walk out of a dental office actually having enjoyed myself should speak volumes of the service I received.
I now no longer have to worry about who I’ll run to should I have a dental dili and won’t grimace the next time I need a check-​up.
Oh…and I’m cavity-​free. Bonus.

Going to Dr. Wexler’s office was an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and personable and I have never had a better dental hygienist than the one they use at this office. I think her name was Michelle. The receptionist was very friendly as well, and informed me that Dr. Wexler teaches classes at Columbia university, the other place I was considering going for dental work. I chose to go to Dr. Wexler, though, because I did not have to wait for hours on end in a waiting room, and I got an experienced professional to work on my teeth. Also, the price for cleaning and checkup ended up being the same at Columbia and Dr. Wexler’s office. The office was clean and very orderly, the equipment was new, and the staff was informative and seemed to have a genuine desire to try to help me. I would recommend Dr. Wexler to anyone.

I used to go to a dentist in midtown, and while it was slightly more convenient to get there (that is, if you consider dealing with midtown craziness as easy), I’m pretty happy with Dr. Wexler.
His prices are definitely reasonable — he charges roughly half of what I used to pay in midtown for the same work — and he’s more efficient than my old dentist. The office staff is friendly and I can always get an appointment that fits my work schedule.
I’m definitely happy I made the switch!

HE is very courteous, knowledgeable and thorough and takes his time to do good work and make you comfortable.
I highly recommend him. He goes beyond what he is required when necessary.

I knew something was terribly wrong with my mouth for a long time. All of my teeth were killing me and terribly sensitive. I could barely eat or drink and I had not been to a dentist in almost seven years due to lack of insurance. Though now I know that a cleaning is not expensive at all.
I called my friend on a weekend to ask her if she could recommend a dentist because I had never seen one in the city. She gave me the number to Dr. Wexler’s office which is a mere ten blocks from my apartment. I called the number and left a message. Marcia the receptionist called me back on Sunday and I explained my problem to her. I was very worried about what might be wrong and the cost of any procedures. She walked me through multiple scenarios and made me feel much more comfortable about what I was experiencing. I work Monday through Friday and it is very difficult for me to get off of work. She worked it out so that I could be fit in after I got off work the next evening. I called her multiple times to work out payment options and she was extremely flexible and helpful.
I went to my appointment the next evening at around 7:00. I had x-​rays taken that showed I needed two root canals and had multiple cavities. One of the root canals needed to be done immediately but I was leaving for vacation on Friday and had no time between then and Friday to make an appointment. Even though Dr. Wexler was leaving the country the next morning he let me stay and performed the root canal that night. He explained everything that was going to happen and though I was extremely nervous I was confident that he knew exactly what he was doing. I left a few hours later with the procedure finished and my post and crown. There was no need to make the annoying follow up appointment for the crown as he made it right there in his office.
I know that he did not leave his office till at the earliest 10:00 that night. I have never had a dentist and his office be so accommodating and helpful. I spoke with them Sunday night and 24 hours later I had everything completed. Everyone in his office was extremely nice and did their best to make me feel calm since I was a nervous wreck.
I have spoken to multiple dentists in Richmond about my next root canal that I need to have done and the prices they quoted me were the same as Dr. Wexler’s but you have to make multiple appointments to have the whole procedure done which I am not looking forward to now that I have been spoiled.
I am so glad that my friend recommended Dr. Wexler to me and if I were not moving to Richmond would definitely make all further appointments with him.

I ended up going to Dr. Wexler, mainly because his office was close to where I lived. I researched him before I went and discovered that he teaches Computer Dentistry at Columbia… so me thinks… legit.
Sorry to say, 3 years and about $ 7,000 later in dental work, I have vowed to only go to dentists that come highly recommended.
Dr. Wexler, with all the charm of a drugged turtle, convinced me that I would be crazy to not have $ 600 porcelin «cerac» fillings put in my mouth, saying that they would be likely to last me nearly my whole life, whereas the plastic ones would surely break in a few years. So I spent the $ 2400 (4 fillings) – OUT OF POCKET, living in NYC on a non-​profit salary mind you, thinking that I was making the most responsible long-​term decision for the health of my mouth. He made me feel like getting anything other than these «cerac» fillings was a waste of time and money.
The procedure (s) was horrible… took a LONG time (and I went 3 times for all the various fillings over the course of a few months), and after each procedure, as the novicane wore off, I was in intense pain. The man has the personality of a shoebox, and is rough as all hell in the mouth. Treats you like a computer program.
So only a few months after these were done and I was living in CA, they started cracking. 2 of the ones that cracked, when repaired, went to root canals… ROOT CANALS, in case you haven’t had the pleasure… SUCK, and are very expensive, about $ 2,000 for the canal and a crown. The other 2 that have cracked have been replaced with regular fillings… still not fun or cheap.
At any rate, if you care at all about your teeth and/​or don’t have a few K’s to blow on dental work… look elsewhere!!!
