Had to get a double bend drain pipe and faucet connector extensions for a new bathroom sink and faucet on a Saturday. H Depot didn’t have any and gave me the wrong advice. Greenwich Vill plumbing sold me the wrong drainpipe, didn’t have the connector extensions, and was generally a mess. Central Plumbing was Super helpful when I showed them the faucet and explained. They had exactly the right parts, in two minutes, and the guy gave me some good tips about cutting the pipe. cheaper parts than at H Depot. Very happy with them

I really don’t understand how these people can still be in business… Was ‘welcomed’ by Michele, who could not wait to see me walk out of the shop. I had some questions about steam showers etc, she barely answered, was not willing to help at all. I am working on a large townhouse in the city, I will make sure I’ll tell my contractors to never go there.

Store has great stuff but the service is horrible
Ordered stuff and was told it would take about two and a half weeks for delivery
3 weeks later still no phone call
When I called Michelle was very rude and told me that that was only an estimate
Asked her to try to find out when I would get my stuff
Michelle never called me back
4 weeks go by and my contractor needs the items so I call again, Michelle is on vacation
And no one is answering the phone at the place where they get the stuff
Ended up going last minute to the yonkers branch of this store where I was blamed for the whole story
Didn’t find what I ordered had to spend more money on replacement items that were in stock
Bottom line:
Not worth the price or the aggravation

after spending 3 days and hours on the phone with incompetent phone systems and staff at 3 home depot locations, I googled plumbing supplies and found Central plumbing. The phone was answered on two rings and they knew exactly what I needed, told me it was in stock and it was waaay cheaper than Home Depot in westchester quoted me for an 8′ hose but HD said didn’t exist in 15′. I gave myself an extra 45 minutes to get to work but was in and out in under 5 minutes. Gene walked right over to a cabinet, pulled out a fridge ice machine hose which HD said didn’t exist in flexible steel and 15′ and rang me right up. It was miraculous! And they weren’t assholes because I was a woman like Home Depot treats you. I wish I needed more from there because it was an amazing, highly professional and knowledgeable place. Yay for you Central Plumbing. You made a customer for life!
