CCS Moving began in 2006, as City Courier Services, a single man operation delivering documents and packages, as well as, handling small moving jobs for home-​owners, offices and stores throughout the New York City area. Over the past several years, CCS Moving has successfully built excellent customer relationships by providing fast, efficient and reliable service. These guys went out of their way to accommodate me. Amazing communication throughout. Ebony was always responsive with issues such as insurance and scheduling. Philip and David were so fast and made the experience fun rather than stressful. Can’t recommend them more. Will definitely use them again when I move.

I was pretty stressed out prior to this move but Phil and Douglas got everything done in less than 3 hours, despite it being a move from Jersey to New York, with nothing dropped or damaged. After getting to the apartment, they even offered to check if the TV was working. All the while I had a great time chatting with the two of them, which made this the first truly enjoyable and non stressful moving experience I’ve ever had.

We hired CCS moving to move a group of large pieces of furniture.
For the first time in my life (and I moved so many times that i lost count) a moving company showed up early!!! This is extremely appreciated CCS and I can’t thank enough for you guys being punctual. The gentlemen (Sylla and his coworker) that came for the job were extremely polite and friendly as well. They were superbly quick and careful. They navigated the challenges of narrow passages and tiny elevators very deftly and finished the job under 2 hours with no problems. They didn’t have to follow us to the destination either and they showed up within a few minutes of us arriving as well.
Given my experience with CCS, it is clear that I finally found the right company for all and any future moves. I would highly recommend CCS Moving to anybody out there that is looking for a quick, safe and efficient way to move.

I was struggling trying to find a company that would move me with quality service and a reasonable price. I found this company online. I made one call, sent pictures for a quote and within 45 minutes I was called back, and booked to move. When the driver got to there, he immediately starting to bring everything cautiously to the door to prepare for a quick and easy move. I stayed out the way to make things easier. I moved out of a 1 bedroom so it was quite fast. Once they loaded everything I had them follow me to the destination. When they got there the driver stood by the door with his shoes off because he knew I had cream carpet and didn’t want stains obviously. The other 2 workers brought the stuff to the door and they set it up. I paid the driver cash, and a nice tip. They were really nice and most all they didn’t break or scratch my nice items. I will for sure refer anyone to this company.

This moving company was very Proffessional and affordable. I called CCS and they came the next day. The guys where fast and careful with the move and they even helped my to unpacked some of my boxes with no extra cost. I recommend them for you next large or small move! You go CCS!

I needed to move out of a one bedroom apt into another apt in the city. After doing some research i decided to go with ccs moving. The guys were very friendly they came on time and did a wonderful job. They wrapped my furniture properly and handled them with care. I was super nervous about this move, i will definitely recommend them

Professional and efficient. Although the movers that showed up came from a previous job, they were motivated and courteous. My move was by no means an easy one but they were more than up for the challenge. The boys worked carefully and expeditiously until the job was complete. The people in the main office were polite and accommodating. Highly recommended.

They were very professional, mannerable and prompt in responding to my emails. CCS was way better than another company that I had previously hired to do the same job, moving one large item. That company was inept at obtaining a certificate of insurance. CCS had no problem communicating with the building manager and obtaining the certificate.
The move went very smoothly.
The only problem I had with CCS is that they did not tell me there was a 4 percent charge to pay with my credit card. I was later told that first-​time customers can only pay with cash or credit card.
However, I will still give them 5 stars and would use them again.

I was quoted $ 225 for 2 hours (minimum) and $ 75/​hour thereafter. They showed up in a cargo van instead of a moving truck, and gave me no prior notice that they were going to do so. I specified everything that I needed to move beforehand, the size of which was apparently underestimated.
We ended up having to take a second trip from my previous apartment, which stretched the time to move an additional hour and cost me $ 75 more than was necessary. Had they brought a moving truck, the move would have been completed in the original 2 hours.
To be clear — the movers themselves weren’t bad at all, just the lack of clarity on what I was getting.

Just contacted them again recently I used Ibrahim and his helper brandon a year and a half ago to move from the lower east side to east Harlem. Last time was great they worked with my busy schedule and took care of everything in one afternoon. Booked for June 27 – 28 for next move this month will update after as long as it goes smoothly

Heard about this company through word of mouth. Lots of my friends have used them and had nothing but good things to say. So I moved from ridgewood queens to central Islip Long Island.
I made a great choice in choosing CCS Moving Company. They moved all my stuff in one trip and in one piece. Plus they helped me unpacked and gave me great advise of where to put my stuff. I will defenetly recommend this company to anyone.

I wouldn’t hire this company to move a cardboard box. They had a window of 11am-​1pm. However, the team finally delivered the furniture at 9:36pm. Upon arrival I came outside my house and was yelled at from the truck «not yet». These other reviews are clearly written by friends, so please DO NOT ever use this company.
