Cassandra did my makeup for all of my wedding events, including my bachelorette & she was simply amazing! She was extremely responsive and accessible, always responding to my emails right away. She is also one of the nicest people — I loved spending time with her while she worked.

Cassandra recently did my hair and makeup on incredibly short notice, and holy smokes, what a pro. She was not only unfailingly kind and cool and funny for three hours (plus checking up on me via text hours later), she has a real gift for chatting it up at the right times and letting a natural silence fall and hang out for a while. For someone a little on the afraid-​of-​strangers side, I was so grateful for her energy.
Most importantly, her work was gorgeous, precise and long-​lasting. I felt so pretty. I wear a lot of makeup a lot of the time and I didn’t think I had the ability to be pleasantly surprised by my own painted face anymore – but there it was. Unconditional recommend.

Cassandra came to my hotel in midtown to do my hair and makeup for a music industry event. She did a great job with both my updo and makeup, was easy to communicate with during the booking process, and was very friendly and fun to talk to. Cassandra did my make up for a XXL magazine shoot. Very happy with her work. My eyeliner was perfect and precise. She also applied very dramatic false lashes that she managed to make look like they were my own. Excellent job.

I arrived in new York from Sydney a few days before my wedding having naively thought I could easily find a salon to do hair and makeup for my big day –how wrong I was! With 36 hours to go before my wedding –I found Cassandra on Unilocal and emailed her for help at 2am in the morning –by 7am Cassandra had replied to my distress call, juggled some appointments and was able to fit me in –what a relief-​she made myself and my stepdaughter look and feel so beautiful –we were both stoked with the result –my hair and makeup lasted all day and night and Cassandra took such good care of us-I’m incredibly grateful and felt so blessed to have found her

Cassandra came to my apartment to prepare me for a big birthday party. The experience with her was simply relaxing, not to say that the result was fabulous. She did my hair and makeup so well that I never thought I could look this way. Plus she is a very comfortable person to be with, and in 2hrs of preparation I just loved talking to her, which is amazing considering that I’m usually a very quiet and introvert person. She arrived very on time. She made the experience very smooth, and most of all she’s in no way pushy or aggressive opinion-​wise, which often upsets me from other professionals.
