History
Established in 2010.
Casa Mezcal is the vision of Guillermo Olguin and Ignacio Carballido of a portal to Oaxaca, Mexico. A window to one of the culturally richest regions of Mexico. Oxaca is not only known for its unbelievable flavorful food, but also for being a vibrant artistic city. The state of Oaxaca is one of the bigest producers of Mezcal, the true spirit of Mexico.
This house of Mezcal is a three level house of fun, food, art and culture. We host art shows, private events, and large reservations at our second floor «The Gallery». We serve the best Oaxacan food at our main floor. The decoration of this traditional Mezcaleria will take your breath away. And we have one of the top cocktail bars in nyc in our basement «Botanic Lab». We teamed up with knowledgeable and experienced mixologists who are running a fantastic parade of cocktails based on super fresh ingredients, syrups, extracts and herbs.
The project is still growing, and reaching further and higher…
