Capital One Bank

This is the worst capital one branch I’ve ever been to. Besides having one single lonely ATM when every other bank within 5 blocks has at least 4 ATMs, the staff is a joke. I’ve had only 2 experiences having to interact with the people who work at this branch and both times they were unhelpful and completely condescending.
This location needs to be completely updated or shut down. It’s useless.

DO NOT BANK HERE. THE ATM STOLE MY MONEY. The other day I went to deposit $ 400 dollars, only to have the ATM hand me back 100 of those dollars and say it couldn’t read my bills. And the other 300? Swallowed into the ATM and not deposited into my account. I of course immediately called the bank to report this and was told to file a claim Monday (this happened on a Saturday). I called back Monday and the agent told me I would have to file a claim the next day, that is until I asked to speak to a supervisor and suddenly then I could file a claim today. So after I file my claim I was told that it would take TEN DAYS for them to even issue me a credit, longer to settle the issue. And the agent had the nerve to tell me that these things happen. No they don’t. I’ve been banking since I was little and seen my banks change hands many times and this has never happened. I asked many friends if something like this has ever happened to them and NOPE it hasn’t. I’ve never even heard of ATMs taking people’s money like this. To think I actually PAY to bank at such a low quality institution boggles my mind. As soon as I get my money back I’m cancelling my checking and credit card account with Capital One.
