Such a helpful and kind staff! Lots of specialty foods — I’m able to buy Rx food for my newly diagnosed diabetic cat here and the staff has helped me navigate this process. Great pet store!

My favorite pet store of all! I’ve been getting my pet supplies here since 2000 when I adopted my first two kittens. Truly wonderful people who go out of their way to get what you need if they don’t have it in stock at the time. They also deliver which is so convenience now that I moved further uptown. It is especially helpful when ordering (very heavy!) cat litter. When I was traveling at one point and my cat minder needed extra supplies, they let me pay when I returned to NY. That’s the kind of wonderful, neighborhood place this is. Prices are reasonable and much cheaper than some of the larger (supposedly discount?) stores, like Petco.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner personally helped us find everything we needed for our new pup. Small store but they had everything we needed.

The best! Always a smile, always friendly and courteous, always knowledgeable and concerned about meeting one’s needs. I know that when I go to them, I will always get the help and answers I need. They are really neighborhood ‘friends’, way more than ’ a business’. A pleasure to know and ‘work’ with them.

Quick service and home delivery for the heavy dog food cans and dry food, that you can’t carry home. This place had amazingly competitive prices and a great range of dog food. This will be my dogs supermarket.

I went in here the day I was bringing home my new puppy – I had no supplies and needed it fast. The 2 ladies who run the store were super helpful, taking time to make sure I had everything I needed, and also helped me make good choices so I didn’t break the bank. (At one point she suggested I put one of the toys I had picked out back and wait to buy more after seeing what my puppy liked – clearly not trying to rip me off). They delivered everything to my apt within a few hours and just in time for my new puppy to get settled in.
I also love the selection of natural/​high quality products here. I will definitely be going back!

Cramped little space with a very sweet staff. Only issue I can see is simply that the space is limited so the amount of product is also limited. Staff is really helpful and great about giving tips on certain dog behaviors as well as little hacks/​tips with items around the house to help with eating habits or chewing problems!
Im so glad this location is just a few blocks away!

The two ladies in this store are ‘too busy’ to price the dog food cans so if I want to decide between several brands I have to ask them how much each is and they have to look it up in the computer. (Or I can bring the cans up to the register for purchase and get sticker shock.) I asked if this practice was because the holiday season ‘is upon us’ or if they never stamp prices on the product (my first time here) and they said the above.
If a business owner doesn’t have time to run the business with a nod to customer service than I don’t have any business returning … and I mentioned this when I bought the cans I did buy.

My wife and I love this place to get our cat food and kitty litter.
We go to the location on 76^th and are always treated to friendliness, good prices and a little bit of conversation.
The women who run the shop and the young man who helps out are kind and helpful.
A great neighborhood small business with all the pet products our cranky old man kitties will ever need.

the best place to get dog food ever! I I’ve been a loyal customer for a year now, and I must say every time I have a problem coming to pick up my prescription dog food, or an address delivery change, they are so understanding and very helpful. I call at least 10 times to change my mind about something, and they never get upset or frustrated. They have the best employees and are always sweet to my poodle when I get the chance to bring him in. They are very passionate about their jobs and know exactly what they are talking about. The trip I take from the Bronx is totally worth it. If the store and the location ever changed, I’d take the trip anywhere they relocated. Best little gem in New York for any pet lover!

I love this store and shop here every weekend for pet supplies. As an owner of a dog and also cats, I find everything i need despite the small size of the space. I like the fact that this store is a locally owned small business and the owner is often present when I am shopping. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They offer free delivery in the area and the delivery crew is always professional.
I find a natural canned cat food here that I cannot find in the larger box stores.
My dog loves this store and tries to pull me inside every time we are walking past, partly because the staff will give her treat samples and they are always talking to her and calling her by name. I find the store to be cluttered in an eclectic and pleasant manner. There is a lovely shop cat who lounges on shelves and there is always a lot of interesting products available for both cats and dogs.
This is the best store I have found for dog coats and sweaters. Someone is making a lot of these products for the store and the quality is amazing. I also found when comparing prices that the prices are excellent for dog coats and sweaters. There are frequent sales and sale bins in this store. My dog wears a winter coat i acquired here and it is so adorable, people stop me on the street to ask where i got it or make a comment about how cute she is in her coat. She resembles a canine version of Sherlock Holms and it is adorable.
I enjoy supporting a small neighborhood business and this store is absolutely a pleasure to visit. I definitely recommend this shop to all my neighbors.

Love this store and the sister store on York Ave. I buy my dog/​cat food here and get it delivered, plus stop in to buy treat/​toys for the guys when I’m passing by. The staff is super friendly. They have great homemade dog biscuits shaped like pigs and ghosts and pumpkins and whatnot. My dog has demolished many a stuffed animal from their large selection. Feels great to support a neighborhood store rather than a big box store like Petco.

Great little pet store! They are the only ones in the neighorhood that carry my dog’s healthy food and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.

A nice store and very helpful people. Prices are lower than Petco on food so why buy from a chain store? They have a very good variety of natural foods too… probably a bigger selection then Petco. I feed my dogs Orijen and Natural Balance Duck. They have both.
I have now changed Cheppie and Pitzie’s food to Acana which is made by Champion foods (the makers of Orijen). Acana has less protein so it’s easier for them to digest. It’s rated a 5 star dog food by
which is a great site to get reviews of the food that you are giving to your dogs. I give them Ranchlands which happens to be around $ 75 plus tax for 29.7lbs bag. Cheppie and Pitzie love it.

It is a pleasure to shop in this charming neighborhood pet store. I have a cat and find that Calling All Pets has a nice variety of healthy foods at prices that match or are a little less than big boxes like Petco. My cat can be finnicky about what she likes and the associates are always willing to accept exchanges if my little princess decides she no longer likes a certain flavor.
The associates are knowledgeable and friendly. You are always greeted when you walk in (which goes a long way with me) and I think it is cute how they say, «Thanks so much!» when you tell them you don’t need a shopping bag for your purcahse.
I once saw a little dog walk from the corner of 1^st Ave to this store (basically dragging his owner) and stand by the storefront waiting for a treat. Poor doggy, the store was closed. Now that is two paws up for Calling All Pets!

I agree that the staff in person is pretty pleasant, however, they have terrible customer service. On more than one occassion, I was told I’d receive a call back, and did not. Recently, I placed an order for food a week in advance and was told a day before the delivery date that they were unable to place the order. No apologies, that’s just the way they operate was the response I got when I questioned why I wasn’t notified earlier. You can bet I will NOT be bringing this store anymore business.

Dog food here is cheaper than Petco, and you’re assisted by knowledgeable, cool staff. They always offer dog treats to your puppy.
