We started Brooklyn Fare with three simple things in mind: good food at great prices offered up with outstanding service.

Our goal is to be a centerpiece of the Brooklyn community and your 21^st Century Neighborhood Grocer. We want to be a place you and your family will come back to again and again for gourmet groceries, delicious prepared meals and more — a place where you’ll find the prices and processes of a modern day supermarket, and the perks and service of an old-​school neighborhood grocer.

History

Established in 2013.

Brooklyn Fare proudly serves the Brooklyn community, meeting a diverse range of customers’ culinary needs, from the everyday to the extraordinary, with a broad selection of reasonably priced fresh, packaged and prepared foods, household and convenience items, and a level of personal service usually associated with old school neighborhood shopkeepers.

Brooklyn Fare is the dream and vision of Moe Issa. Moe was raised in this neighborhood and through the years has watched it change and grow into a burgeoning residential area. While the number of residents has grown quickly, the resources and basic necessities for these people have grown a little more slowly. Moe discovered that a grocery store was needed, and he has set out to provide two neighborhoods with a store where one can get delicious prepared and fresh food and all the grocery basics at one location: a store that provides the highest quality food with an amazing attention to detail and customer service that is second to none.
