This service terrible. There are no discounts. They don’t let you pick your own seats when there are plenty available even a day before the show. We called and asked for an aisle seat preference and they said they have no control of seating even though we offered to pay more on top of the $ 300 gift certificate we had. So frustrating. Never again.

I bought a $ 150 gift card for my uncle for Christmas. He told me
charged a $ 56 dollar service fee for using the card… more than ¹⁄₃ of the value of the card. I see from other reviewers that this seems standard. I’m sure they had this information available in fine print somewhere on their website, so I take responsibility for buying this horrible gift card. However, if they clearly stated that ¹⁄₃ of the price of the card would go to «fees» I would NEVER, EVER have purchased this. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

There must be a way for the Better Business Bureau to put this scam out of business. The print stating the $ 104 service charge for 2 tickets is much smaller than the other info. Such fraud!!!

Scumbags. This sight is run by scumbags. Besides the incredible «service charge» mark up on the face value, the option for seat available — «best seat» are NOT the best seats available. Check this out by opening
while searching Ticketmaster for the same show date. You’ll see that Ticketmaster gives you the option of choosing from all available seats and that the price is less expensive. I hope the

The reviews below are exactly right. This site, while named «broad​way​.com» is actually not a legitimate seller. The exact same tickets are sold at Ticketmaster for $ 50+ less per ticket. Literally the same seats, for the same show, for the same night. This site simply tricks people by using the name «broad​way​.com» and hoping that buyers will not realize to compare prices against Ticketmaster. Shocking that the Broadway theater community has not taken steps to shut this scam down. Buyer beware. This is a total fraud.

WTF!!!

Pathetic. I couldn’t attend a show we had booked and wanted to re-​book for the night after. Charged me fee of $ 25 per ticket. Tickets were $ 40 each in the first place so adding on over half the price to each ticket! This kind of service deserves failure.

The tickets are priced much higher than other sites and they tack on huge service fees. I was disappointed because I am going to a play with some friends and decided to use a gift certificate I have, however the website doesn’t allow you to pick your own seats. If I use it I won’t be sitting with them. The ticket that is costing me 156.50 through telecharge will cost 198.45 through
A ripoff at best. Order through telecharge or go to the box office if possible.

Never buy tickets from this web site. They overcharge tickets and the web site has limited features; you don’t get to pick your own seats or to see which seats are available in general. Do some searches and you will find greater deals than what this web site has to offer!

It is totally my fault that I overspent on tickets because I should have done my research. I googled tickets for a top-​rated show and
popped up as one of the first choices to purchase tickets. Because of the name, I thought they were the official sellers. Instead, it seems that I should have just bought the tickets through ticketmaster. Now, I have paid $ 70 more than I should have for these tickets. As I said, it is my fault for not doing my research. I still find it ridiculous that they can charge so much more for tickets. This show has gotten great reviews so here’s hoping it was worth the extra cost.

Please don’t buy tickets from here. Do your research before buying. I recently started a gift registry for my wedding and friends have purchased gift certificates for me as I like to see Broadway shows. When I went to use them I noticed the ticket prices were AT LEAST 30% more expensive for the same seats compared with if I went to the venue directly. In some cases it was close to double the price.
I’ve written to them to ask for a refund. I’ll be complaining heavily to the BBB and CPFB if they don’t provide a full refund. This place is a scam and needs to be shut down.
Update: I’ve logged complaint number #150 713 – 2 041 with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau so hopefully they’ll able to help us all!

I called asking to see why and try to cancel try said no. All sales are final. Very upset cause we love Broadway but hate the way this tickets works. Going with tele-​charge or ticketmaster from now on. They charge 9 dollars a ticket

Absolutely Terrible! Wish I’d looked at Unilocal before using them. My girlfriend wanted to see a show while we were visiting NYC. I requested 2 tickets for an 11 AM showing of the Blue Man Group. A representative from
called me several hours after my order to inform me that the seats I wanted were unavailable. The rep told me she could get me tickets elsewhere in the theatre, which I approved.
The next morning I received an e-​mail an 1 hour and 40 minutes before the show telling me that they couldn’t get tickets and my order was being cancelled. They did not call in the 20 minutes between sending the e-​mail and my calling them. I confirmed the purchase failure with their customer service, who were polite, but unapologetic. Thankfully, I was able to buy decent tickets for the same show at much less cost on Ticketmaster. I never thought I’d say this, but «thank you Ticketmaster!» You saved me from my horrible experience with

THIS SITE IS A SCAM!!! I bought Giants spring training tickets for my dad and brother back in December. I received confirmation in an email shortly after. A few days before the game, they sent an email saying the tickets were being delivered to my dad’s address and even included a FedEx tracking number.
My dad and brother drove an hour to get to the game on a Thursday night, get to the ticket counter and find out someone else has already used those ticket numbers. The ticket lady stamped them as invalid. I get a call from my dad explaining this and talk to the ticket lady. She says call
customer service.
I call and there are options to type in your purchase order number. Low and behold, the automated system can’t find the order. Then it says it can track the order using my phone number as long as that’s the number I used when making the purchase. That didn’t come up either. I pressed 4 to speak with a representative and after waiting 30 minutes on hold, gave up and filed a claim with my credit card company. Do not buy anything from this site!!!

The only reason I used this website was that it they have gift cards. I wanted to give my Mom a gift card specifically for broadway. I could have given a more general gift card to ticketmaster or stubhub, but I was concerned that she would get confused by all the different options on those websites. I understood that
would be more expensive, but I figured it was worth it to give my Mom a good experience.
I could not believe how much more expensive they were. For tickets of face value $ 339, the «service charge» was $ 118. That’s crazy. There is literally no other seller I know of that charges such an absurd fee.
To make matters worse, the fee was so enormous that virtually no tickets could be purchased for the $ 200 gift card I selected. Meaning, even to buy the cheapest ticket possible, my Mom would have *still* needed to supply her credit card, which ruins the whole idea of a gift. In the end, I logged in to the website myself, and completed the order using my credit card and her gift card, then emailed the tickets to her.

These guys automatically added insurance to my ticket, increasing the price by $ 40 (on top of their already exorbitant «service fees»). This is a really shady and misleading way of doing business — most companies have insurance as an optional extra that you have to actively select,
automatically add it to your ticket on the assumption that most people won’t notice it until they have already paid. Total scam.
UPDATE:
A couple of hours after sending them an email, they refunded the added insurance, so have to give them a couple of points back for unexpectedly quick customer service!

Tickets that would have cost me $ 135 a piece through ticketmaster or at the box office, cost $ 47 dollars MORE a piece just for purchasing through this crappy hoax of a website. There’s NO benefit to buying through the site. They don’t have better seats, they don’t give you anything for ordering through the site.
