Bradley Grossman, DC

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. There are plenty of other chiropractors in NYC who won’t waste your time and who will care about you as a patient. This one does not.
Dr. Grossman was extremely rude. His office called me to complete my pre-​visit insurance paperwork. They informed me they had copies of all my insurance cards and that they had verified my insurance coverage with my insurance carrier.
Upon arrival, I was asked to fill in a large number of forms, which took 20 minutes. I have been seen at this hospital, which shares EHR (electronic health records) with all their physician groups, before and clearly they had all my information, yet requested another raft of paperwork. OK, fine, I did it.
I waited another *hour* in an empty waiting room, and then was shuttled into the examination room. I waited another 30 minutes there, and then the office manager came in and said the doctor «refused to see me» because he could not «prove who I was» as I did not have my insurance card with me. What, really? I said the office had verified my insurance already, and I had been waiting for an hour.
Even though I had, by this time, been waiting nearly 2 hours, and even though it was crystal-​clear from my three forms of photo ID, the photocopies of my insurance ID in their own records, my credit cards, and my work ID badge that I was me — Dr. Grossman refused to see me or even talk to me.
If this was their rule, then tell me when I arrive or even better, when you call me to verify my insurance and then inform me it has been successfully verified. Do NOT waste 2 hours of my time, plus travel time, to figure out you messed something up in your computer files and I have to come back while your office figures out what went wrong.
If this doctor was ethical, and I stated this to his office manager (noting, as she said, that it was Dr. Grossman’s decision not to see me and not hers, and she couldn’t do anything about that) then he would have realized that I could bring whatever paperwork they needed next time and honor the fact that they messed up their paperwork by seeing me. In fact, by rudely refusing to see me, even briefly, after 2 hours of making me wait –clearly, Dr. Grossman was comfortable not only wasting my time, but making me run around to see him again.
NOT LIKELY. If he treats my paperwork like this, he will treat my body and health like this too.

Been seeing Dr. Grossman for almost 2 years for lower back pain. He has wonderful bedside manner, very calming.
Last year when I was in incredible pain he told me if I needed to see him when he wasn’t in the office to call his cell phone, that he lives near his office. I’ve Never had to wait, he sees me right away. My last visit was exceptional. Dr. Grossman took the time to go over my MRI results & explain it to me. Unlike like my Orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Grossman truly cares about his patients. I have been seeing him for various injuries to my neck and back for over 18 years and I have never been disappointed. He has helped alleviate the pain of herniated
Discs, tmj and other issues from aging, sleeping funny or working out wrong.
Dr. Grossman cares about the whole patient– taking the time to figure out what is bothering you and how to fix it and also taking the time to ask about your family and how your day is going. It is very obvious that he loves what he does and that passion really shows. I highly recommend him to patients of all ages for any issues you are having.

Brad is very compassionate, gentle and healing in his practice. He has helped relieve me of chronic lower back pain, and when I have pinched something and unable to move, I’ve gone to him for immediate relief.

I have been a patient of Dr Grossman for nearly 20 years. He has put me back on my feet many times, offered counsel when I have other physical problems AND his office is very accommodating. I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else.

Dr. Grossman is a gentle and generous soul who really knows the body and what it needs. I started going to him after my left shoulder wasn’t recovering from the extreme postural stress of a breast biopsy. Ever since, I’ve continued seeing him regularly, and I would not put my shoulders/​back/​neck in anyone else hands.

I’m a personal trainer and I have found that Dr Grossman has been able to consistently help my clients with postural improvement. I really believe everyone deserves quality care from professionals without having to go into bankruptcy and Dr. Grossman is extremely accommodating with those with financial constraints.

Dr. Grossman is very kind, gentle, and calming. I have been to a couple of chiropractors before, and I was a little scared of what they might do, but that is not the case at all with Dr. Grossman. The office has a pleasant, soothing atmosphere, is in a convenient location, and they are very accommodating about appointment times. Highly recommended.

Dr Grossman is a great chiropractor. I am a relatively new patient… after my last chiropractor moved to Italy :(4 years ago, I’ve been to 4 different people who came highly recommended and and finally found Dr. Grossman. I always feel like he knows what he’s doing, isn’t preachy, and feel like he takes what’s going on with me seriously without projecting the idea that he knows better. That’s rare in my experience. He’s a gem.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Grossman for over ten years. His bedside manner is so calming. He really cares about his patients and is very accommodating as far as fitting you in for last minute appointments. If you are looking for a great doctor –I would say Dr. Grossman is the one for you.

Dr. Grossman is kind, patient and never rushes. He took great care of me and I am no longer having any back issues. I highly recommend him.

Dr Grossman is amazing. I started seeing him during my second trimester of pregnancy and I always felt better after seeing him. In addition, he isn’t one of the dr’s that make you come back again and again. He often told me he didn’t want to see me unless I needed to see him. In addition the prices are very reasonable I strongly recommend seeing him.

A few years ago, I was working out and hurt my back really bad. It took everything in me to not start crying in the middle of the gym and then walk home. That was on a Friday evening. As luck would have it not only was Dr. Grossman located 4 blocks from my house, but he had Saturday hours. He was great and helped get me back in shape quickly.
