The only reason I seem to keep coming here is because it is convenient. I live in the area so it’s easy to get to. If you’re looking for the worlds FASTEST but not so great mani and pedi this is the place for you. The women that do your pedicure barely touch or scrub your feet. Last time I came here they left the back of my feet still with dead skin that you could visibly see. I made the mistake of taking my aunt and cousin here because we were in dire need of mani and pedi and did not want to drive all out of the way but this was a huge mistake. My aunt kept trying to tell the woman doing her pedi that she left a lot of «junk» (for lack of a better word) but the woman simply told her «NO» and was refusing to go back and get all the cuticles and stuff she left behind. I had to intervene letting her know that she was NOT doing a her job and if we are paying for a service we should receive what we pay for. Today I ended up having to go there because I am leaving town and yet again I received another 5 min less than par pedicure. I will not be returning there ever again.

If your looking for quality do NOT go there. I went in for a spa pedicure, the pedicure I got was mediocre.
They weren’t thorough enough for my liking, if you’d like half ass but available then I’d suggest it.
I asked for a small heart on my big toe as an added design and it seemed bothersome to her since 1 other client was waiting.
I won’t be back the search for a good pedicure continues.

I visited this salon on Thursday and wanted a spa pedicure and honestly is not worth it. They do an ok job but not worth the $ 28 hot stone massage pedicure.. I feel like they rushed through my whole pedicure and the lady didn’t seem to happy or maybe she was just tired. They don’t have a lot of variety of colors which kinda sucks. I came in with 2 people including myself so 3 all together and we was out in about an hour and half which is a plus. However I wish they would take their time and put more energy into there job, especially spa pedicure which I asked for but I felt like I got a regular pedicure with just the stones add to rub my feet for 69 secs each. Even after a crappy job I still tipped the lady well. I really wanted to like this place since I’m searching for a good nail salon for the longest while but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

I just got out of the place there has been great reviews on Sophia so I though I should try her she was nice and did what I wanted there isn’t much I can say because I didn’t really understand her

I have to say this is one of the best nail salons I’ve come across in this neighborhood. They are quick, prices are good and they do really cool nail art designs.

But there customer service sucks!!! I been here for a little over an hour and one of the girls is just cleaning when she could be helping me so I can get out at 8 … It’s now 7:54pm and I’m still waiting I been next after one other person smh

First-​time, was greeted rite away and seated were only two people ahead of me already being tented to as it was early 10:30 very clean very comfortable space went in for a medi & pedi was very happy with the end results by Coco. decided to have my eyebrows done awesome job .will be back.

I love this place, but I love it because Sophia does my nails flawlessly, the men who work there aren’t very good, they rush and don’t pay attention. Sophia does an amazing job on my nails and she does them every time!

Went there years ago and I was actually very happy with the service. I went there this past Saturday to get a fill-​in and horrible is not even the word. A man did my nails and as he was buffing my nails with the machine, he literally burnt my skin on 3 fingers. You would think the first 2 times I pulled away, he would get the message he was hurting me. I didn’t even realize how bumpy and uneven my nails are until later that night. The acrylic is so uneven on my nails that it looks like a child did them. Definitely will not return.

I wanted to find a convenient nail spa, as well as one that won’t break the bank. The price for the service here honestly cannot be beat, and not found anywhere else!
I’ve always seen this place when I walked by it, so I decidedto give it a try. I went here for my first pedicure in May before I went on my cruise vacation. There was a paper sign taped to the window that said, «Pedicure — $ 9.99.» You don’t have to tell me twice!
So I walked in and announced that I would like a pedicure done. They told me to simply pick a color, and seat myself at the spa chairs at the back. It came with a remote control back massage. So as I waited for my toes to be done, I was enjoying a complimentary massage.
They do a good job on my toes I would say. They make sure my nails are all filed and shaped nicely before they color them. They give you a quick leg and for massage as well. I just wished that they would take a bit more time in the scrubbing part.
Otherwise, it’s a very spacious salon. It smells terribly of nail polish fumes (as expected), and they do pretty well understanding your needs. This is definitely my nail spot.

Another great time at the Big Apple salon we were shocked to see the negative review it is 8:40 PM and they are still open working hard as far as the negative review. I was quite surprised! According to the owner, the bad review lady is black and unless she took advanced Chinese in college I doubt she knew that they were talking about her! This lady is notorious for giving out 1 star reviews and looks for a deal, she intimidates the stores and manipulates to get her way. She is a trouble maker and shame to these reviewers!

False advertisement! Asked for a simple design and they failed to provide without a flight. Also the Asian person doing my nails was talking about me in her language with her peers. She was making faces and expected a tip.
I won’t be going back. It is cheap there; but I’ll prefer to pay extra to get respect.

In my quest to find a new nail salon, Big Apple Nails is at the top of the list for new favorites. (Read my review for nearby New Jin nail salon). You wont get an extensive foot massage without paying for it, but outside of that they get the job done. Low prices every day of the week. Clean, plenty of updated nail polish colors and courteous staff.
