History

Established in 2012.

After stepping out of the limelight, from Fox Network’s Hell’s Kitchen, finalist, Chef Guy Vaknin became mindful of the missing ingredients in today’s popular cuisines. Fascinated by the many health benefits associated with a plant-​based diet, Chef Guy broke new grounds and pioneered the Beyond Sushi vegan lifestyle brand.

Guy Vaknin started making sushi two years ago, when he was working for Esprit Events, his family’s kosher catering company. Then, after stepping away from the limelight and becoming a finalist on Fox Network’s, Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen Chef Guy found a missing link in the cuisines being offered today. He wanted to bring a healthy and environmentally conscious option to NYC therefore, pioneering the Beyond Sushi brand.
