Established in 2009.

Since Carolyn founded Betts Recruiting in early 2009, the recruiting agency has expanded its staff to over 90 people serving over 400 clients throughout the US and Europe.

I had an amazing experience with Bett’s recruiting. I worked with Mike Rooney, and he was awesome to work with.
What I noticed with most recruiters is they wouldn’t take the time to really understand what I wanted out of career and try to find the best fit. They’d say «Send me your resume, and I’ll see what I can do.» But Mike had a very long in-​depth conversation with me and would find opportunities that were a great fit.
Beyond that, he would get on the phone with me and prepare me for every interview. He’d tell me what questions I should be asking and how to appeal to each person interviewing me.
Mike’s guidance landed me two job offers where I felt so confident going into the interview. On top of that, Mike offered to help me decide if I wanted to take the job, he helped me negotiate my salary, and offered to look at my contract. He even offered to help me find an apartment in New York City when I accepted my job.
To say the least, Mike exceeded my expectations and more importantly produced amazing results.
I would recommend Betts recruiting to anyone looking for a Sales and Marketing job. They’ll make your lives and job search process much easier.

Mike Rooney at Betts Recruiting made my job search so incredibly simple — I shared my interests and skill set; he lined up interviews for great positions at great companies. When one opportunity didn’t work out, Mike had at least three more ready to go. He was always constructive and moving the process forward (which was especially helpful since job searching can get discouraging at times).
I had trouble getting sales positions on my own because I would stumble in the mock cold call stage of the interview process. I had never done it before. When I worked with Mike, he literally got on the phone with me multiple times to practice and make sure I was fully prepared that time around. I went into the interviews he scheduled way more prepared, passed with flying colors, and I use the tips from him in my current sales job that he helped me get. I’m a full month into my new job and couldn’t be happier.
Bottom line: If are willing to work with Mike (prepared, punctual, etc.), then he will do everything he can to get you in the position and company you’re looking for.

I had the pleasure of working with Phillip Yamartino from this agency, and what a great experience it was. Phillip was professional and friendly at all times and was always making sure the process was a two-​sided conversation. He does a great job at finding out what it is you are looking for and only presented me with options that where in line with that or where my experience would best apply. I work in account management and am currently in the middle of searching for a new job, and I’m so impressed with the hard work that Betts has put into finding me a position. I’ve been working with Aly and I’m really impressed with how great of an advocate she’s been in finding companies that fit my interests and getting my name out there to them. I’ve had multiple phone interviews and a job interview (and job offer, although I elected not to take it since it ultimately wasn’t the best fit) in just the past two months alone. Aly has always been proactive about describing the companies and positions, sending over information and tips about interviewing and scheduling prep calls before each interview to make sure we’re on the same page.
As a disclaimer, I’m fairly entry level with a few years of sales/​account management experience under my belt, so my experience is really only applicable to SDR (sales development representative) positions and I don’t have much knowledge about the recruiting experience with higher-​level positions. Overall though I’d recommend Betts to anyone in my same professional position and would especially recommend working with Aly as I’ve had an overwhelmingly positive experience with her.

Upon moving to New York, I was fortunate enough to be able to work directly with Andrea Glick from Betts Recruiting. She took note of my interests and strengths and matched me with my dream job within a month of working with her. I especially appreciated the fact that she took into account the type of company culture I was seeking. She is extremely personable, preps thoroughly prior to and after interviews, and performs above and beyond her set duties with every opportunity she bridges.
Andrea is also refreshingly efficient and made herself available throughout the entire process. There’s literally no one else that could have assisted me with landing a job at a reputable company as quickly as she did.
