Update: I bought a lock today! The young gentleman was there today and he was AWESOME. It seemed he was having a lengthy discussion with other people when i walked in. But as soon as i picked up the lock and looked over, he rang me up. Not only that, he even took out a boxcutter and opened the package for me! I’m really impressed — i mean, if it were me, i would’ve taken a scissor, hacked away at the packaging, and then scrape my fingers on the jagged edges to retrieve the lock… but a boxcutter! It only takes one cut and the package peels open. I am majorly impressed and he was so pleasant and so quick.

A few months ago, I came to this store to make a copy of my key and the young gentleman at the counter was so super nice and helpful. He showed me the different key designs and price-​checked about 10 of them for me. He really was so patient. I didn’t expect picking out a key to be so much fun!
Today, I went back to the store to buy a lock. It was a middle-​aged woman behind the counter and the store seemed to be filled with her friends. Anyway, I picked out a lock and I was standing at the counter with my wallet in hand ready to pay… except no one seemed to care. I just put back the lock and left.

Mike listened to me on the phone, agreed to look at pictures I took of my door lock and then told me how to fix the problem. Fantastic service!!! I paid less than $ 25 when my super wanted $ 350!

They have a good supply of common household hardware for such a small store, but to me they were not helpful. I went in with an odd request, granted, but the young guy behind the counter was not helpful. I think I described by goals clearly, but I could not make sense of his reply and he had no interest in explaining it more clearly as he could not wait to get back to his newspaper.

Got a mess of keys made. They all work. It was quick and easy and cheap. I even dropped a 20 bill on the way out and the dude chased me down the street to give it back. Good people.

Got treated with complete contempt. Rude younger guy behind counter was appalling. Don’t ever go to this place unless you want to be treated with the worst customer service and disrespect.

What a great place! Made a copy of my key that no one else could seem to make a good copy! i recommend it to anyone needing various keys copied. They have all shapes and sizes!

Needed some keys made, and Bayard was a quick, cheap, and effective option. Each key probably took 20 seconds, which is shorter than the time it’s going to take me to write this review, and all of the keys worked.
Wide selection of keys, including guitar keys, hokeypokeys, and mon-​keys. No whiskey though.

Ben was so wonderful! We bought a new cylinder for our deadbolt and he gave us his card in case we had questions. We called twice and he was so helpful and patient. Amazing level of customer service, very appreciative!

This is a great store.
Michael is Very professional, takes the time to explain and help, and prices are very reasonable.
Go local, it is much better (and cheaper) than larger stores.

Knowledgeable and friendly locksmiths. They were able to make copies of every type of key I brought them, at a very reasonable price and very efficiently. Explained the differences between various types of keys while I waited.

Fast, reliable, cheap, polite. Got a couple copies of my apartment key. In out in a few minutes. Bought a couple lottery tickets while I was there. Didn’t win but had a good time anyways haha.

Ben, the locksmith, is polite, responsible & reliable. He came promptly & worked diligently to unlock my door. He also charges a very reasonable fee. I am very glad that I have found a good locksmith in the neighborhood.
