Our office is conveniently located on South End Avenue and is accessible via all major roads. We are proud of our office, which fully utilizes state of the art equipment. We have a modern sterilization system that surpasses OSHA requirements. The source of water for our dental units is distilled water (bottled water), which removes any chance of contamination from regular tap water like that used in most dental offices.

Dr. Roytberg is a graduate of University of Washington dental school, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S. degree.

His emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-​to-​date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable him to provide his patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Roytberg has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.

Still in shock over my amazing experience yesterday. Went in for a wisdom tooth consult expecting x-​rays and a referral to an oral surgeon. Dr. Simon came in and took a look and then asked if I was ready to take the tooth that was bothering me out. I thought he was kidding! He took it out in less than three minutes and I was back at work within a half hour — no pain or swelling post-​op. I usually get nervous at doctors appointments, but the friendly and professional staff were funny and reassuring, keeping my nerves at bay. I had an incredible experience and am thrilled that this is how I will remember my wisdom tooth surgery, something people talk about all the time! Should I ever need the other 3 out, I will definitely return here. So thankful for Dr. Simon and his team.

Yesterday was my first visit. The office is small but well kept and efficiently run. The staff gave me clear upfront info about the cost of services. I received a thorough first timer exam with the Dentist and then a good clean with Felecia. The office has great afternoon/​early evening hours. I scheduled follow up work but didn’t feel that they were trying to sell me on unnecessary services. Highly recommended.

Save your self time and money. They are scam artist and tell you need stuff you dont. Told me I needed a deep cleaning and a tooth filling, saw TWO other dentist who said I did not. Ironically the deep cleaning and filling was going to cost me money if I didn’t realize they are liars. They should lose there license for lying and doing procedures that are not needed for money. Filed a complaint with the city and they are looking into it at the moment. DO NOT GO! Also seems like they pay people to write reviews for them.

I was very disappointed with the false advertisement. Saw an ad on their website for Invisalign and free whitening and when I went to the office they quoted me a different amount and wanted to charge me for whitening. They didn’t tell me the price until after I went a few times to get x-​rays and cleaning which they claimed needed to be done prior to getting the Invisalign. They also said that I needed to have these all done in order to get the discount before the year ended. And when the actual process
of getting the impression for Invisalign they quoted me a price which was not what they had on the advertisement. With the price they quoted I can go else where instead.

I’m updating my review because they did call me and email me a copy of the updated corrected claim that they will be sending to my insurance company and let me know they will be sending me a check for the co-​pay amount I had overpaid.
I care even if just for audit purposes because it is these kind of errors that can potentially increase insurance premiums for everyone (had my insurance company paid them) and why on earth was I overcharged my co-​pay (that should never happen to anyone even accidentally). I was one patient and this was my first time here and two errors happened, but both have been corrected now after I brought them up. They mentioned my Unilocal review on the call so I am updating to show the full set of facts and that both errors were indeed corrected by them.

I have been getting my dental work done by Dr Simon and he has done amazing work. The staff is very knowledgeable and receptive during the time of my visits. Dr. Simone made sure I was informed about everything he was doing and why during my procedures while getting dental implants.
For cleanings and general work, I found the hygienist know what they are doing and attentive. I followed recommendations as well and I have to say I am quite pleased with Battery Park Dental all around.

As someone who has had a life long fear of dentists and dentistry, this is the 1st dental office ive felt comfortable and dare I say… actually like. The ladies who work there are super sweet, kind and sensitive to me when im there. They make me feel assured that everything will be ok and that I feel no pain. Miranda even held my hand when I was nervous :)
The office is also very clean and modern with the most up to date technologies.
Because of how caring they are, I managed to get all the dental procedures ive been needing to do for years, but have just been avoiding.

Be very cautious of this place!!! I will never go back! I purchased a groupon for zoom teeth whitening. First seen by the hygienist, Linette (Who was GREAT) but when the dentist (Dr Roytburg) came in he examined my mouth and told me i had 6 cavities! I was shocked, I take very good care of my teeth! He told me he could start drilling out my cavities today and it would only cost $ 1,500!!! Im SO glad I decide to get a second opinion from my long time dentist out in Jersey because when he examined me I was told he found one pre cavity that could be treated with fluoride rinse no need to drill! So I was almost conned out of $ 1,500 by this man and had 6 unnecessary holes drilled in my teeth!!! It’s actually criminal but I have no faith in the justice system so I’ll settle for warning everyone on Unilocal

I never thought I’d be writing review about dental work
The best dental experience I’ve ever had, I was very impressed with the modern facility and even more impressed by everyone from the receptionists to the hygienists and dentists were very friendly and they genuinely care for you, I was seen by Dr. Simon he explained what i needed to be done. I’ve now had all my treatment completed over the past 6 months and think this place is great. I feel «cured» from my dental phobia.

I’ve been seeing Dr Roytberg for the past year and a half and could not be happier.
Let me back track and say that I have been blessed with genetically «soft» teeth and therefore have spent more time and money at various dental offices than is normal. During my first visit with Dr Roytberg he was extremely professional and easy to talk to. When I told him I was nervous (due to many years of bad dental experiences) he talked me through everything until I understood and was comfortable. Since I had so many teeth that needed fixing he mapped out a plan on how best to proceed with treatment so that I would get better and to not go over my insurance allotment for the year.
Dr Roytberg was also the first dentist to tell me that I grind my teeth. At first I said no because no one else had ever mentioned that to me but later on I realized that my jaw was sore in the morning and then a few weeks later I felt a cracked tooth. When I went to see Dr Roytberg he explained that the grinding had likely contributed to the crack and offered to get me a night guard. If only someone had said this to me earlier my tooth would never have cracked!
The office itself is completely state of the art you are able to see my xray images and videos of various treatments from the comfort of the treatment chair. The dental hygienists are also awesome and do an extremely thorough cleaning. The front staff is extremely friendly and courteous. The office is run very smoothly and I have never had to wait past my appointment time.
All in all I think this is the best dental office experience and Dr Roytberg is by far the best dentist that I have ever been to!

I waited 2 hours for my appointment. Thank godness it was over weekend.
They tried very hard to sell me all kinds of service. It sounds like my teeth need everything. But they dont bother to tell me how to take good care of my teeth.
After I switched to another insurance plan which they do not accept, I change my dentist and informed them about it. But they keep sending me text messages for months. It is so not professional. Will not recommend to anyone I know.

I cant say enough good things about this place! Since i dont have dental insurance i went and purchased a deal on groupon, thats how i discovered this practice. The whole staff is so nice and polite the second you walk through the door, even if your late (which i always am). Their even nice and accomodating enough to squeeze me in after being an HOUR late.whoops. Dr. Roytberg is a sweetheart and makes you feel like your in good hands. They also except care credit which is awesome because i dont have to pay for all the dental work that needs to be done up front, i can pay it in payments with no interest for a year! I actually dread going to the dentist because i havent had the best experiences in the past and i hate needles. I love that you have the option of using the gas instead of getting novacane shots in your mouth multiple times. It make the experience go by quickly, relaxing, and painless. I really think Doctor Roytberg and his practice go above and beyond for their patients, with all the extra perks they give you for free, they definantly know how to keep their clients coming back! This is by far the best dental practice ive ever been to.

I came down here because I got a «living social» for zoom whitening. I found the staff to be competent, friendly and helpful. When I left I not only had whiter and cleaner teeth, but I also was armed with some great information. One thing to note, this office specializes in pediatric dental, so don’t be surprised when you have screaming kids all around you. On the flip side, if you don’t like dentists who are harsh and a little scary when it comes to cleaning your teeth, this one is top notch. Thanks for reading and enjoy.

I live in the neighborhood and have recently started going to Battery Park Dental Group. I have had such a great experience overall!
Initially i went for a cleaning and X-​rays and saw Ana the hygenist. She was very friendly and did a thorough job. I then saw Dr. Roytberg and he made me feel as if I knew him for years! The whole staff is very friendly and recognized who I was when I came back repeatedly.
When I got my filling Miranda and Dr. Roytberg really made me feel comfortable and at ease. I have never had such a seamless filling procedure! I also got the teeth whitening procedure. Miranda walked me through the whole process and explained the details of what she was doing, which i like. It only took 1 hour and my teeth really look great!
I can’t say it enough but they really have a great team with a positive philosophy at this dental group. I highly recommend it.

This place is awful please save yourself and do not go here.
I waited 1hr to be seen. They couldn’t even do a proper cleaning and took another hr for! They couldn’t work the machines or computer. They forced me to do xrays after i already refused but insisted but the machine didnt work anyways and i had been there for over 2 hrs! Then i get the bill… These shady ppl charged for services i never had done. I never saw the dentist’s face once yet they put down some dentist not even part of my network! This place is awful, poorly run, unprofessional and shady.

Dr. Simon Roytberg has been my dentist since I was in high school, maybe even earlier — I’m now 27 years old and continue to see him regularly, which now means making the 4-​hour trip from Boston. He is the only dentist to whom I will trust my teeth.
My best experience with Dr. Roytberg has to do with his cosmetic dentistry capabilities. When I was seven-​years old, I had one of my front teeth chipped, and I went through most of my youth and early adulthood with unsightly, misshaped, yellowed fillings. That, in addition to my four front teeth being quite crooked (and my family not being able to then afford braces for me), led to my never smiling and feeling incredibly self-​conscious about my appearance.
In 2007, Dr. Roytberg recommended porcelain veneers for my four front teeth. Within a few weeks, I went from someone who never smiled to someone who could not stop smiling — I now have teeth that, I kid you not, are worthy of Hollywood. The incredible boost to my confidence has helped me in my profession, which is of a client-​facing nature, and has completely changed my life. The procedure was painless, the cost was absolutely reasonable for the phenomenal work completed, and my teeth are now stronger and more beautiful than ever.
It has been over five years since I got my veneers with Dr. Roytberg — they continue to be absolutely perfect (I am diligent with my dental care, which you should always be with or without veneers), pristine, strong, and I am constantly getting compliments on my smile.
The other aspects of Dr. Roytberg’s services are equally as wonderful. Anna, one of the dental hygienists, will give you the most gentle, thorough and painless cleaning possible, and she is incredibly pleasant to talk to, as well. And the receptionists are all incredibly sweet and helpful.
The office is equipped with state-​of-​the-​art technology, i.e. a camera that allows you to see exactly what the dentist is seeing as he examines your teeth. It’s pretty cool to watch, actually!
Everyone in my family has been going to see Dr. Roytberg for years — my mom is even getting dental implants with him this summer. He is a talented, honest and wonderful dentist, and I will never trust my teeth to anyone else.

i was reccommended to dr. roytberg by a friend. i had ALOT of work that i needed done, including, deep cleaning, cavites filled, crowns and implants. (it had been a LONG time since i had visited a dentist. dont wait like i did!) i met dr. roytberg and his staff. they were reassuring, professional and worked with my timeline and financial timeline. i will admit that i am a big sissy when it comes to dental work, so i was really stressed out when it came time to pull a tooth and start the whole implant process. (i even get freaked out when i just have to get my teeth deep cleaned!) i worried unnecessarily, as the whole process was carried out deftly and without any pain or anxiety. i was amazed. on the other procedures, i was always asked if i was experiencing any pain, if all was well, if anything hurt.
i continue to return to finish up all the procedures done every couple of months. i have recommended this busineess to four or five friends, who now have made battery park dental their go to dentist for all procedures. and i will continue to tout them as the best dental place i have ever experienced. some of the procedures were carried out at thier sister business, park avenue dental, and i have found the staff there to be as exemplery as the staff at battery park.

This place is really awful. I went there under the new client deal $ 75.00 for a full mouth of xrays, cleaning, and exam. I was told I needed all sorts of excessive work done (including braces) — I am 38 — I’ve had braces and my teeth do not need braces. I was told I need deep cleanings and they would cost $ 1000 every 3 months and that I could not wait until I was covered by myy insurance that begins in 3 months because, and I quote from the dentist «insurance doesn’t cover jack shit» He actually said jackshit. The cost and amount of work I was told I needed right away was so overwhelming I broke down in tears — causing the dentist to scurry off. I was called the following Monday by the office manager who gave me a break down of everything I needed and the costs — I made an appointment for the filling I needed only — the day before my appointment I was called and told the Dentist had to reschedule due to a seminar. A seminar on a Friday afternoon at 3PM in the summer in NYC? — I doubt it.
I didn’t reschedule, however my husband went in a few days later for the same deal for $ 75.00 — he too was told he needed an excessive amount of work done by the hygenist — he waited one hour and the dentist never showed for the «exam» — he was told the dentist was stuck in traffic in the tunnel. I find it really hard to believe that a professional who makes the same commute everyday to work can’t make it on time and makes his patient wait a full hour. Ridiculous, and just plain rude. They didn’t even do the cleaning — so he paid $ 75.00 for some xrays…
I called and told the office manager I didn’t think we were a good fit there and requested our xrays get emailed to me. She in turn emailed them to my husband, in which upon reviewing I seen they did not do a full mouth xray on me and should have as it was included in price. I was told by the office manager she would call me on Friday after she spoke to the Dentist to give us a refund. Today is Wednesday, and no call back and no replys to the email I sent. TWO appointments missed by the dentist!
This place is ALL BAD!
