Vape store is slow meaning there is no one there. There selection of mods are very limited… feels like the vape store doesn’t fit they need some music or life going on instead it’s a bunch of people sitting around on their laptops and phones wonder if customers are coming in. great concept poor execution.

First vape shop that i ever been to. Great customer service, the worker that works behind the counter is very knowledgable about their products. First time i came here, i bought a EGO one Pen because i was very inexperienced. As time moved on, i started moving on to bigger box mods and Brendan (the counter worker) consulted me.
They have a huge variety of juices, very organized and clean. If you need any help with your products, Brendan will be there to help! They have really nice exotic juices that nobody carries from what ive seen. Their Bamsiklicious line of juices is amazing. Mango, lychee and Grass jelly/​Lychee is AMAZING. My go to juice is always and has been the lychee one.
Take a few samples, try it out! They’ll have no problem giving you one of their pens to test it, and their sample pens are premium also.
Check this place out, you wont be disappointed!

This is my new goto spot for my juices selection is huge. The lounge is very chic. I could just chill there for hours and get lost in their fantastic art gallery. If you are into the vape life this is the spot to check out for sure.

I LOVE THIS VAPE SHOP. ITS ALSO AN ART GALLERY TOOOOo! The artwork it always in Flux yet always manages to capture my imagination. From super ultra detailed animé, to dragon masks, all the way to surreal comic pop art you will always be enchanted. And the most enchanting thing is the staff. Reggie and his Crew or Vape Masters will always be of help and service. They are polite and professional. Kool people hang here.

Walked in to see what they had in the way of kits, I had done some research online and wanted a Kangertech Subox mini, lo and behold they had it!
Reggie was super helpful, walked me through the setup of the piece and had me sample a ton of flavors. Walked out with a new kit and a bottle of key lime pie sugar cook ejuice, so delicious.

I was waiting for my bus to go back home, so I decided to come in and look around. The setting is absolutely relaxing with very eclectic artwork throughout the store. The employees are very knowledgable and kind. They don’t pressure you to buy anything. They just want you to try the best products. I’ve been to many vape store up and down the east coast and I can say that their selection of juice is quite phenomenal. Although some prices are exaggerate, I honestly think it’s worth it. I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to NY. Thanks guys!

Don’t let the innocuous store front fool you. Going through the doors of Avant Garde is like walking through a portal, one that takes you from the hustle and bustle of NYC to a relaxing vape lounge with helpful staff.
As a smoker trying to quit, I was looking for alternatives to help make the transition from smoker to non-​smoker easier. Reggie took the time to introduce me to the world of vaping. He was patient with my wife and I as we sampled everything that was available, and I mean every flavor he had to offer.
In a world where all everyone seems to care about is the bottom line, Avant Garde has found the secret to a great business. The being the fact that service matters. And the service here is top notch: friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly patient. They’ve got themselves a repeat customer.

Service: Reggie Yu @Avant Garde bent over backward to help me get the perfect setup and responding quickly to all of my questions and concerns. He was patient and helpful throughout. Details. It’s all in the details. An old adage that is literal but rarely executed except at Avant Garde.

If you’re a novice, like myself, AG has a stool for you. Drew in by the window art and attractive atmosphere the vap-​tender sat me down and let me freely explore with no pressure. When I was ready to engage he was eager to share his expertise. These guys were definitely user friendly; and military friendly. 10% military discount on top of their current product promotion, awesome! Will return with friends wiling to take the step toward a more flavorable lifestyle.

First and foremost, I am an absolute novice to vaping. The only plumes I ever heard of comes on a peacocks ass and clouds are there for makin’ it rain. All I wanted was something to help me quit smoking.
I came across Avante Garde when it first opened in my neighborhood about a month ago. Since they have seating where you can chill and try the flavors, I was able to hang out and learn about vaping in a relaxed environment. The most important part was that the staff was patient and approachable.
I spent an hour just trying out flavors and talking to other customers about whether or not it was difficult to pick up. When I realized that it was primarily the other customers who were encouraging me to try this as an alternative to my smoking habit, I had to give it a try.
When I decided to purchase, the staff showed me a range of options and walked me through each setup to see which one would suit my needs. While they appeared to offer some high end custom products called Lunatic boxmods, they didn’t push these on me and I walked out of there with a setup that worked for me.
The cherry on the sundae was that Avante Garde functioned doubly as an art exhibition space. I don’t know too much about art but I think the below is self-​explanatory.

Holy Sh*t. This place is amazing.
Do you know how many vape shops are popping up in NYC? These things are everywhere, and majority them are employed with douchebags. Most of the vape shops I have visited in the Manhattan area are full of know-​it-​all-​wanna-​be-​hipsters that can really care less unless they deem you as cool as them. Not Avant Garde though. These people are so friendly, so amazing!
I know not much about vapes and what not, and I really only tag along with friends. or in this case, went to pick up gifts. The guys working behind the counter introduced me to the basics of vaping all over again, and sat me through the flavors with and without tobacco, and of course, the different mods. Can’t get someone just juice as a gift without a mod now can I?
Onto the art gallery… that’s what makes the place so chill. The place isn’t just a cool kids hangout place meant for only vape experts. Not only are the guys helpful, but there’s a damn art gallery to amuse me so I could at least pretend to be cool while getting my 101 on vaping. I need to really brush up on my appreciation for art though, that would make my next experience much more enjoyable.

WHERE VAPE MEETS ART.
I work around the area and saw this spot had just opened up. Being the curious person that I am, I ended up walking in only to stumble upon an art gallery X vapor lounge… WHAT?! is exactly what I thought.
The place is well lit, spacious, and clean. Not to mention that the artwork they have on display is pretty amazing (currently on display is Android Jones). I’ve been to many vape stores in the city but never a vapor lounge with an art gallery. As I inquired about their products, it was obvious that the guys here knew their stuff and was here to promote a lifestyle not to just «sell.» Like all the other reviewers, it’s true when they say that this place is really chill — I’m really indecisive and not once did I feel pressured into buying something BUT I decided to buy my friend a christmas present (which he loved) so THANK YOU AVANT GARDE BY MMC!
As my rating goes «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» If you’re ever in the area you should DEFINITELY check this spot out — I promise you won’t regret it. They have a vast selection of e-​liquids (lots of exotic flavors) with & without nicotine and a good selection of mods. PLUS the price is right — I myself will definitely be returning here!

An awesome spot. Come on down. Cool vibes. Chill art. DJ cranks out dope tunes at a reasonable level where conversation with anyone is easy. Friendly staff. Feels like a sweet lounge. The bar chairs are the most comfortable of any other shop in the city.

This shop is so chill with such a welcoming vibe.
The artwork, lighting, neat hardwood flooring, and super-​clean bathrooms give it a classy vibe without the pretentiousness of other large vape shops in Manhattan.
They also bring a little of that sweet Cali vibe wih some hard to find, and one-​off mods. No big corporation here ;)
