I like this store :) The variety of supplies, welcoming smiles, the helpful staff made it a pleasant visit. Had quick short trip, found what I was looking for. Definitely will be going back.

I love this store! It has a huge variety of supplies and the staff is really friendly. They also have really good prices. Another thing I like about it are the vintage toys and strange novelty items, so I shop for gifts here too.

A hidden gem that has EVERYTHING, including snazzy wrapping paper. There is no need to go to Michael’s or any other big-​box art store b/​c this place sells all the same stuff and then some. It’s well-​organized and the prices are fair.
The reason why I can’t give more stars is b/​c of the MULTITUDE of signage all over the door and entryway stating that you are under surveillance, shoplifters will be prosecuted, etc and silly rules, ie. no teen allowed without supervision. Clearly, these types of signs and policies come from a prejudiced place. I have a hard time patronizing businesses like this. If you’re that hateful of black ppl, then stop taking our money. Just sayin!

the prices mirror Blick in many ways, without the bargain sales. I chuckled at the ‘stop stealing, we are watching you’ signs about the store. Immediately thought of Wayward Pines. If an Abbie jumps out, I am using one of their pencils to poke ‘em in the eye.
They have a nice assortment of journals and black books. Moleskins and nots…
They run the gamut of art disciplines. Not bad for a creepy basement.

I love this place. The supplies are of good quality, and the staff are very nice and helpful. Prices are reasonable. It’s also just a fun place to browse around, even if you’re not looking for something specific, unlike certain big-​box craft stores. I could spend way too long in here.
As long as this place is in business, I’ll never have to go to Michael’s again.

Amazing.
My first visit I felt like I was Alice discovering an enchanting wonderland of creativity. Also, the sales associate I spoke to was helpful and reminded me to get a student discount.
They have anything artsy you cld possibly think of (and more!). When I have time, I like to go by and see what catches my eye — there are rows and rows of crafty tools and cheeky signage. I’ve been back since to pick up printmaking and painting supplies, and plan to return for all my creative needs.

I’m so glad this place is right here. They are super well-​stocked with a bunch of awesome art supplies, from pencils, pens, charcoal, and paint to drawing pads, all kinds of paper, adhesives, and stuff I’m not even enough of an artist to know about. They also have a bunch of craft stuff including yarn, embroidery hoops, and other stuff I’m not crafty enough to know about. They also have tons of tchotchkes around too (postcards, little boxes, magnets, kids’ instruments, polished rocks) if you need to pick up a sweet little present. Also: they offer a student discount.

The selection of supplies is great, the staff is really helpful and the prices are about what you’d expect for Manhattan. It’d be nice if the prices were a little lower, but like I wrote all around great art supply store and its pretty easy to get to being near the A, C, B, D,2,3 trains.

Came in here once… nice place and great stuff.

A goldmine of an art supply store! I’ve walked by a few times and I’m sorry I didn’t stop by sooner. It’s huge downstairs with tons of art supplies and gifts. I’m so glad they are close and an amazing local shop.

Amazing selection of everything you need for any project. I cant believe this store is in Harlem! I am so thankful to the owners of this store for bringing it here to our backyard. No need to take a train downtown. This store has everything, every pencil, yarn, paper for any creative project you have in mind. Become inspired. Get transported into a world of infinite possibilities. Sorrounded bu the abundance of creative possibilities, how can this not be a little piece of heaven?

I’ve walked past this place many times and had NO idea what was brewing in the basement!
Not only do they have a vast assortment of bonafide art supplies –silkscreen, sketching, painting, everything under the sun– they have a ton of crafty things for kids and other trinkets that make great stocking stuffers. Prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is super friendly.
This is the best Art supply haven I’ve seen since Pearl Paint!

This place is the most amazing hidden gem in Harlem. Massive variety for serious artists and casual crafters. Not to mention a great selection of wrapping paper and gift cards. It’s super exciting that we have this in the neighborhood!

Loved this store! I literally got something for everyone here — fine art & drafting supplies for me, craft stuff for the kids, hard to find materials for a few household projects for my husband. The space is huge and kept going and going (there are entire rooms for paint and canvas supplies). And the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I wanted to hang out and play all day!

Needed some last minute supplies for a DIY project and didn’t want to head to Michael’s, I can’t stand there over prices items. Found this place on google and I must say I will return! The store it’s self is an art piece, they have everything you will ever need as an artist. They also host writing workshops, all in all good business for Harlem !

This place is HUGE and I didn’t even see it all the first time I visited. As Noemi said in her review, the small storefront is deceiving because the whole store is downstairs. The store is a bit of a labyrinth, there’s one main room with about ten aisles of every art supply you could think of, markers, screen printing, spray paint, oil paints etc. Near the entrance to the main room is an entrance to a room full of children’s art supplies that could be a store by itself. On my second visit I discovered there’s another room of canvases. I was just browsing but there were plenty of employees eager to help. They had a Halloween display for the season. You can get a cheap mask or make a custom one yourself. They also have lots of blank greeting cards (which I think are the most thoughtful) and small silly gifts.

This place is a Godsend. The picture that is provided does not give this place justice, I judged and really thought that I wasn’t going to find what I needed but they have a very large selection of art goods from architecture to engineering to advanced paint to children’s arts and crafts. The store has a small storefront but a very large underground space. They also provide student discounts! Score!!!
