— Preparation for: NYSSMA Exam, RCM, ABRSM, Piano Teachers Guild Exam, Rondo Piano Competition, Forte International Piano Competition and many more

Performance Opportunities

— 2 Recitals a year in venues such as The National Opera Center in NYC

— Spring and Fall pizza parties for the younger students with performance opportunities

AS Piano Studio believes music should be for people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. The studio offers private and group instruction opportunities to students ranging from age 3.5 to adult.

The studio is conveniently located in Midtown, Manhattan, a diverse and community oriented neighborhood. Lessons are available at a wide range of times to accommodate the busy schedules of New Yorkers. Our lessons are reasonably priced and special discounts are available for lesson packages.

Anahid Syourapian Piano Studio cares about the training you or your child receive, from the new student beginning an instrument, to the adult re-​acquainting themselves with an old pastime, to the advanced student with an active future in music. Business Owner

Anahid Syourapian is a prominent International Recitalist, Chamber Musician, and Piano Teacher with an impressive repertoire of international awards and performances.

During the last 16 years, Ms. Syourapian has shared her incredible education and talent with students of all ages and levels, group piano classes, as well as special needs children within the Tri-​State and Boston areas. Her Russian Pianism influence on teaching allows her to bring her student’s individual talents and abilities to a new level of excellence. Ms. Syourapian believes that piano lessons should be a part of every child’s curriculum, and that the benefits are immeasurable! Pianists are able to read a universal language, learn to play many genres of music and express their individual style through the music they love. They are taught the benefits of staying committed to a long term goal, even when it is difficult to do so.

Ms. Syourapian is able to teach piano lessons in English, Bulgarian and Armenian.
