This has been my go to spot for eyebrow threading (whenever I’m in town) for over 6 years. They always do a good job and leave my eyebrows looking good. I’ve never tried any of their other services so I can’t comment on that, but I definitely recommend them for brows.

Eh.
Ladies, we know how important eyebrows are to the face. This particular eyebrows threading session was mediocre at best. I’ve been growing out my brows to get it nice and full. Now my eyebrows will never be 100% full due to waxing but it was full enough to garner an arch shape. Did I get that? Nope.
To be quite frank, it looks as if I didn’t spend close to 10 minutes with my head back wincing in pain – doesn’t look like I did my brows at all. I paid $ 10 and it wasn’t worth it. Thankfully it looks like I didn’t get my brows threaded and can salvage it elsewhere.
Thing is this place was difficult to find. I spent 10 min walking up and down 23rd looking for the business until I looked up and seen it’s location (atop Radio Shack). I say this to say – I should’ve went home as it was God telling me to not enter. Didn’t listen and now I’m out of $ 10 bucks and fewer eyebrows hair.
But again, I am thankful she left enough where it can be revived. Praise Him.

Love this place. I come every week and they do an incredible job. I’ve sent countless friends here and everyone asks me where I get my eyebrows done. The office doesn’t look special, but everyone who works here had done my eyebrows and I always leave completely giddy! Can’t beat the price, the service, the quality… the whole experience. Highly recommend!

I love AMAZING BROWS. Every time I go in there I am greeted with a smile and terrific service, which is so key for me as a consumer.
I have been coming to this spot for 3 years after having some less than desirable experiences at other hair removal salons. I have had once facial, and countless waxings and threadings.
I always feel a bit more beautiful when I leave.

Full leg wax: Relatively painless. But the waxer, who was impatient to get to her next appointment, was far from thorough. In fact, she left many splotches of blackened wax all over my legs (which were not easy for me to remove).

Made an appointment for Eyelashes in their Brand New EAST 28th STREET salon.
Excellent service from the phone conversation, with the Owner, thru and including the
entire Eyelash session with her staff. Clean hands — NON SMOKER.
Customer service 5 STARS. I will be returning if only to say «Hey» to the Owner.
She was outstanding, kind and understanding.
I wish them well in 2015 and beyond!

I wanted to give a good review since when I walked in for a brow wax there was no one in the salon and they looked extremely excited to have a customer, but considering they burnt my skin when I warned them my skin was sensitive gives them this low rating. I won’t be back again.

Clean office, but a little sketchy to get in to (unless this is the norm for NY? Idk, mega tourist over here). Went in for henna with a friend, but we were unimpressed. My friend asked for a design that looked like a frame they had on the wall, but what was actually done looked nothing like it. Then, when it was my turn, I was told she ran out of ink. Annoying.

Second time running into these guys in a rush on my break trying to fit in an eyebrow threading appointment and once again they took me straight away and had me out in 5 minutes! Can’t fault them at all :) oh and at $ 7…bargain!

I went here using a Groupon, and let me tell you… I will be back. Staff was super friendly, the bikini wax was fast and relatively painless, and prices are good! The actual salon is small, and not the most updated/​lavish… But it’s professional, very clean and well maintained. Also the location is really convenient as well to major subways. Overall, I would recommend this salon.

Got waxing and threading done. The lady left patches of hair while waxing and did not give me the option to check and make sure that all the hair was out. Cut my lip while threading so won’t be back here. Prices are responsible thus the 2 stars.

I don’t even want to give this place one star. I never Unilocal– but it was so awful and had to blast it and warn others. First I got a groupon for sugaring — it was sugar wax not sugaring– totally different. She lied to me and marked my groupon as redeemed — she stayed in the room with me while I took my pants off– which never happens. It hurt — but I still gave her another chance and got threaded. She cut my lip and ruined my eyebrows. She told me to pencil in my eyebrows when I was done. I told her she made it worse than before and she said yes. I repeated that and she said yes. It was the worst experience ever. When I left she started yelling– prob about me… Please don’t care if you care about yourself.

When it comes to these brows, I have tried it all! Waxing, tweezing and threading. I’ve tried people everywhere! But nothing compares to Amazing Brows. I have been to several ladies here and they are all great!
I have really thick brows at the base but the ends are thinner. These ladies always make them look as proportioned as possible.
Aside from their skills, the prices here are perfect!

I’ve gone there 2 different times since its around my office. The times I’ve gone there has been no wait. The price was what attracted me the most, but I should’ve known, you get what you pay for.
They over pluck eyebrows, both times I’ve gone I’ve dealt with two diff people and it’s been the same problem. I’ve walked out of there in the worst moods because of the HORRENDOUS job they’ve done, and all they say is sorry. Sorry isn’t gonna bring my eyebrows back. Then they have the nerve to expect a tip?! Here’s your tip, don’t over pluck eyebrows!!! I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

I came out of here looking surprised in the brow!!! I would recommend Vada Spa for your threading needs… This place is often empty for a reason. And the attitude that I was met with at the door was HORRENDOUS! All I wanted was my brows arched!!!

I hate having my time wasted and that is exactly what Perfect Shape did today.
I went in at about 1:25 and requested for my eyebrows to be done — the lady was really nice and said that the salon person was currently assisting someone else, but would be with me in about 10 minutes. I told her that is fine, I wanted to put my name on the waiting list and then I’d be back in about 5 minutes (even though there wasn’t anyone there). She said that this is un-​necessary and she would see me in 10 minutes.
I returned 5 minutes later and began waiting for the other 5 minutes to be «up.» 10 minutes later, I approached her again and informed her I needed to return to my desk by 2pm and it was only at that point that she cared to inform me that the lady was ALMOST done, but there was another customer in front of me. Uhm … why didn’t you care to tell me that when I was sitting down for 10 minutes? And WHY quote me 10 minutes when clearly, it was at least a 20+ minute wait?
