Business Owner
Co-owner, Alex Mnayarji, has experience styling for Tara Subkoff, Rebecca Minkoff and Timo Weiland for NY Fashion Week and Broadway hits Wicked, In the Heights, Avenue Q and Book of Mormon. Alex joined Allison Lacorazza, a long-time Greenwich Village native, to put together this special salon.
Wanting to take their service to the community further, they came up with the idea to give a portion of each service and sale back to the community. The salon has partnered with Brooklyn Animal Resource Coalition and Gilda’s Club and a portion of the salon profits will go to these charities.
They are the only salon in the City carrying the Use Me line, an eco-friendly product line made in the USA and offers a refill bar to recycle your bottles. Aloxxi is their color line of choice; its motto is «giving back is beautiful» and donates to the organization City of Hope. The accessory line EMI-JAY supports charities such as Operation Smiles and Locks of Love.
