As much as I would like to be able to write a nice review I can’t because I have never actually met him. I did however try to make appointments with him for a year now. The one appointment I did have 3 months in advance was cancelled. He has no flexibility at all for people with real jobs that can’t leave work in the middle of the day. The staff is polite but not helpful in anyway.

I love this office. Everyone here is warm and welcoming and any fears that you have, they are ready to talk you through. I came here because a recommendation from a friend for their IPL service. Anything with lasers made me really nervous, but Janet, my aesthetician, was SO nice and kind.
I’ve been going here for a few months now and have been really pleased with the way that they have treated me. The office is really nice and clean and the treatment rooms have really nice and plush chairs. I would highly recommend Janet! She’s really been very informative and helpful and has provided me really great personalized service!
Since starting my treatments here, my skin has improved significantly. My pores are much smaller and my complexion has really evened out. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My little guy cracked his head on a coffee table and his pediatrician gave us Dr. Kolker’s number. The staff kept the office open for us and, when we got there, everyone was amazing! Dr Kolker even pulled out his personal iPhone and pulled up Yo Gabba Gabba for my little guy to watch while he got stitched up.
When we had the stitches removed, Dr Kolker and his staff were so fantastic and gentle that my son never even looked up from his leappad.
The whipped cream and cherries on top: 1) We avoided the ER thereby skipping the germs and obscene wait times. 2) He takes insurance!
I passed his cards around so much that I had to start letting my friends take pictures of his letterhead.

Dr Kolker is the rare combination of amazing skills plus bedside manner. He’s wonderful with children.

He’s who stitched up my baby’s lip right before he turned one when he busted it open. And thank GOD, too, because had I took him to the local emergency room, who knows what student on rotation would have got to him, which is apparently who’s assigned these jobs. And they use entirely different thread too, which makes a massive difference in scaring. So what I didn’t know until my amazing pediatrician called me straight away after I texted her, if there’s ever a lip situation, you always, ALWAYS, call a plastic surgeon to the job. My baby’s face looks amazing and you can baaarely even see a scar, only 9 months later. Oh, and he’s very reassuring, calm, gentle, and warm. I loved his presence. He definitely knows what he’s doing. He also has a gorgeous office to boot and has all sorts of awards in the city, been featured in TIME, etc. The guy to go to.

I usually don’t write reviews, but Jordana, the medical aesthetician on Dr. Kolker’s staff, is unbelievable and I felt compelled to give her more positive feedback! I bought the Gilt City Oxygen Treatment special, and had my facial last week. In general, the office is spotless and the welcoming staff is extremely professional. I have gone back now for an IPL treatment, and that too, is top of the line, and has helped my skin tremendously.
Jordana is incredibly thorough, sweet as can be and is very informed regarding products and how they affect your personal skin chemistry. As a reviewer said before, she is so accessible; after the treatment she gave me her email address and told me to email her all the products I use so she can help me adjust my routine for what’s best for my skin. Her recommendations combined with her skin care treatments have given me the best skin of my life. I will definitely be coming back to her… I’ve finally found the best facialist in NYC!!!

I’ve been compelled join Unilocal and write my 1^st review because of this wonderful girl!!! Jordana just gave me hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. She’s cool, professional, and she really knows skin. The office is spotless, and they have extremely modern equipment and products. To top it off, instead of being scolded for not drinking enough water, (duh), I was actually offered coffee! …most definitely my kind of place.

The Best Facialist in NY is Jordana. And now the proof: I moved to NY over 2 years ago. I went to not just the places but the actual person magazines, trusted sources, and Unilocalers swore by. And almost all were a strong 7 or a shy 8 treatment. But a good facial is great technique done thoroughly. There were very few with the technical extraction skills but almost no one get you thoroughly nano– clean. Plus– those really well known places in the magazines have been sued by their clientelle claiming they’ve been scarred by estheticians so whatever place doesn’t even try to give you that amazing facial even if they could. So I kept flying to SF to get it done right. Finally I expanded my search to blogs of Ny brides, new mothers, anything where skin changes or needs to be at top performance– I found Jordana. And I kept finding her. People would mention her in their blogs, or comments would be posted advising people to go to her. I am now booking my facials there 2 months at a time– Her technique is like Mike Tyson, her thoroughness is 99.999%. And on top of that she is a deal at $ 175– all the treatments (micro derm, peels, etc) she gives you at no extra cost to the best extractions in NY. You can email her about products– she check with the maker the percentage of active ingredients. And you can definitely send your most picky friends– because everyone loves a perfect 10. Who doesn’t want perfect no makeup needed skin? She can get you there.
