This place is great! The nicest, most generous and helpful employees (Albert, Richard, Cloy to name a few –yes, I know them by name because they are that kind!). I highly recommend them both as a business and as people to work with — ⁵⁄₅ for sure!

It is exceedingly rare these days to find a mom and pop business in midtown Manhattan (or anywhere in Manhattan). This is that. No corporate influence, and no aproned drones who know nothing about what they’re selling (like in Home Depot). These guys have been in this neighborhood forever, and are still around because there is no one else that can come close to the quality of their product and their service. Every time I need something — a key, a new lock, a safe, they have it or they know what will work as a substitute. When I’ve needed the locks replaced on my home, it happens the same day and they were master-​keyed so that I could give temporary keys to guests and repairmen without compromising security — nice touch! When I needed a bunch of super-​weird doorknobs, they went out and found them for me – no extra charge. Even the simple stuff — like a new padlock for the gym locker or my suitcase is quick and easy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I stopped in on a Thursday to have a set of keys made before going on vacation. They charged $ 7+ per key. I tried using the keys that night & they did not work. When I went back to the store the following day, just after 5pm, they were closed for the weekend. It is frustrating to spend $ 15 for two keys that don’t work. Now I needed to find another locksmith open on a Saturday that can copy my keys correctly a day before my flight. I’ve never had an issue getting a key copied before so I don’t know if this is normal.

I was told that they make copies of keys so I went in to see if I could get my key made. No luck!!!

Don’t come here if you want to get your keys made. The service is fine but they charged me like $ 5 per key. Now I’m no expert on getting keys copied but I just feel like they ripped me off. You can probably find much cheaper options elsewhere.

The best locksmith I have had the pleasure of working with. I don’t know what John M is talking about, because every locksmith they sent has been superb. I contacted them twice for an emergency lock issue at my office, they were at my door within an hour or two, which is amazing even for New York City (on a Jewish Holiday, no less). As good as it gets for a locksmith!!! They will be the only ones I call from this point forward!

Terrible, the man has no social skills, talking a load of technical bull, he has got to realize he is dealing with the public and not all his customers are locksmiths, everything was a hassle to him, overall a bad experience. An Old embittered ignorant man.

Old school locksmith, fantastic service (I was greeted and helped immediately, keys were made less than 5 minutes later), extremely knowledgeable folks, and very well priced ($ 1.75/copy for regular old keys). Only wish I found these guys sooner!

Straight to the point locksmith business. Friendly customer service, cut my keys with no problem. They have decorative keys if you want something different. Clerk suggest I bring back the keys if they weren’t cut well. Cool local spot in Midtown.

Copied my keys here in a few minutes. They seem knowledgeable and not just your average locksmith, they do lots of work for the local industry.

The worst! Not only did they not make a copy, they ruined my original keys all while having a bad attitude! I went in last week to copy three keys before going out of town. I have a lot of keys so I started to take them off the key ring. I took one off before the guy barked at me to leave them on. I was thinking «ok dude, jeeze, calm down» but complied. After a minute, he had to ask again which one I wanted copied… which was why I was going to take them off. Anyway, that wasn’t the problem. He took my original key and put it in the key copier side of the machine, ruining my key, and locking me out of my apartment. To top it off instead of saying he was sorry, he said it was my fault for taking the key off the ring. I understand mistakes happen, I make them all the time, but when I do I try not to blame someone else, especially if it’s something in which I should be an expert. Thanks to this guy I had to sit outside my apartment (in the rain!) waiting for someone to come home and let me in (lucky there was another copy) but I’d let that go if he hadn’t been a jerk. To be fair, he did offer to remake a new key for free if I came back, but I’d rather pay the $ 2 to not have to deal with them again

Very professional and courteous. Service was quick and price was right. Definitely nice to have near work!

Quick and easy locksmith. Easy to drop by during lunch. Super quick too, they made my keys in about 3 minutes. They have a $ 10 credit card minimum so make sure to bring cash! Making 2 keys cost about $ 4, not bad.

Have made copies of keys here and also had a deadbolt installed — friendly, professional, and efficient place!
