After avoiding these establishments(because Im a chicken when it comes to fearing food-poisoning, not really, but for some reason I was scared to try this place. Too good to be true?) Ended up going in on a late night with my friend who was starving after a fun night out… She thought it was too strong on garlic(and I thought I was the Vampire!) but she ate it anyway. I thought it was fine, greasy, but fine. The verdict: It’s CHEAP and It is freaken PIZZA. Its Pizza, Has there ever been a Horrible Pizza? No.

I didn’t expect much from a dollar slice, but I’ll admit the pizza exceeded my expectations. A slice is pretty thin, so you’ll want to order at least 2. I think that thinness is the key to the light, crispy texture. It’s the perfect proportion of tomato sauce to cheese, and not greasy at all. Best dollar slice I’ve had since, well, slices still cost a dollar(and that was a long time ago).

I have been here multiple times at a variety of after hour times(11PM-4AM) and the guy who is in is ALWAYS friendly(unless he is about to finish his shit, at this point I don’t blame him – BUT he has never been rude, just honest and a little frustrated). They are cheap(the pizza isn’t the best, but I personally think is awesome for $ 1/slice and their mozzarella sticks with tomato sauce are obnoxiously tasty). You NEED to come in with cash, although there is an ATM outside, but it’s just not worthwhile. Are you local? Are you hungry? Is it late? Do you not want to spend money? Does it really matter when you’re drunk?(well kind of…) YES!

Fresh ingredients but terrible service which justifies their low prices. There’s plenty of other pizza joints… GOTHERE

This is by far the best place to get a pepperoni slice in the area. The pepperoni tastes great, the other ingredients are ok, there’s enough dough to fill you up on two slices, and there’s free oregano and red pepper shakers. To top it all off, the slices are the cheapest I’ve seen at: $ 1.50.

There are a ton of these places like this in the city but this is my favorite.. .bc it is across the street from me. Its as simple as this you give them a dollar and they give you a slice. I dont know if you can get any toppings bc Ive never really gotten past the sheer awe that I can get a slice for a dollar. They give you a hot cheesy slice. Basically if you go in with a $ 5 bill you can feast like a king.

big fan of this place for what it is. A substantial & decent tasting dollar slice with plenty of pepper, garlic, & parmesan cheese on the side. the availability of the condiments alone makes this place better than a lot of the other dollar slice joints but this one also tastes pretty solid. Also, the guy whos always behind the counter is super friendly.

I stopped in here for an early dinner(5:30PM) yesterday after spotting it on the way to the subway. I came in and ordered 2 slices. A pie was baking in the oven. The employee told me they don’t bake a lot of pizza pies and leave them. They bake theirs fresh as needed. Good to know if I stop by in the future. I got my 2 slices put into a small box. They had the usual spices to put on your pizza– garlic powder, salt, oregano, red pepper flakes. They also sell beef patties, Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks.
