I took a beginners French class here over the summer. I stopped going halfway through because it was unorganized and too lax for my taste. I think beginners classes should be a little more structured than what was offered. My boss recently signed up for an advanced beginner Spanish course and she stopped going as well because of the same reasons. It seems like their instructors teach on the fly and seem to go on tangents throughout class.
I think maybe classes here would be better as a refresher course if you have some experience with the language, but other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it.
All that being said, it is the most affordable way to try and learn a language in NY.
