A great selection of wines and spirits. A very well organized store and helpful staff. They are also sensitive to your price point which is always a plus.
My only sticking point is if you are looking for a good selection of beer, steer clear.

67 Wine has a great selection and an awesome staff as well. If they don’t have what you need, they can order it for you or suggest a similar alternative.

Dedicated & Diligent Follow Up
That sort of sums up my recent experience with them. I was a new customer and tried to put in an order on line. Experienced some difficulty and spoke with Sadie. She not only handled it (by putting the case aside –as there was a limited number of bottles available in inventory for me while they worked to address the issue), but she also got back to me a few days later to confirm if I still wanted the order. I was then able to complete the on-​line order and was anticipating the delivery.
Isaac then called me the next day with a concern that there were not enough bottles in stock for the order. I explained what had happened and asked him to check with Sadie. Isaac did, confirmed that Sadie had pulled the inventory to accommodate my order so that it was shipping out complete.
Great teamwork and follow through. I will definitely be doing more business with them.

Extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional salesperson (Paul) here, who will smile at you when you walk in, but will judge, insult and lie to your face, while smiling broadly from fake ear to ear. I’ve been a customer here for over a year now, have had reservations about this places operations, but never have been so personally insulted as I was today. Having brought in an ad, I asked for two bottles of wine at a little over 200.00 total. Lying Paul went to the back to the shop to get me the two bottles, but then flat out refuses to allow me to take them downstairs myself. In fact, he wouldn’t even give me the bottles to hold for a second when I then, taken aback, asked if if I could see them again. I’ve bought overpriced bottles of French Bordeaux here before and NEVER had a problem with bringing the bottles downstairs myself (it’s always been obvious to me that it’s up to the discretion of the salesperson whether they want to or not), but today, Paul decides that he wants to not only play profiler and detective, but liar as well. When he claimed that he was bound by store policy to carry down EVERY bottle that a customer buys from a glass case, I was shocked. This is a flat out lie. I know it, he knows it, and any customer who has shopped here before knows it. I’ve bought dozens of bottles from the glass cases, and no one ever insulted me to the point that this guy did in bold face lying to me while flat out refusing to allow me to hold the bottles. When pressed at the counter in front of his colleagues about his statement of never having allowed a customer to carry a bottle from the glass case downstairs themselves, Paul the Liar realized he couldn’t say he never allowed it, otherwise his colleagues would know he was a liar as well, so he then attempted to amend his statement by saying he’s only allowed it a few times, which I’m sure is another lie, but nevertheless impeaching himself and his earlier statement to me completely. So, in short, he simply decided on his own he didn’t want me holding the bottles I was going to buy, profiled what is now an ex-​customer, and felt good about insulting me by lying to my face. Another colleague felt like he had to come to lying Paul’s defense; and how? Not by apologizing, but by asking me to leave the store. Not one single employee attempted to come over and either apologize or try to defuse the situation. The only employee who chose to say anything chose to tell me to leave the store, and it was obvious to me that this was based not on the fact that I was out of line in being insulted by Paul’s lies, but based on the fact that a customer next to me that was listening to the whole disagreement voiced his agreement with me. Paul’s outright lie to a customer to hide his obvious and outright chauvinistic bigotry (and this is, based on how I felt and how he treated me, MY judgement now, since he was certainly entitled to his own about me, albeit at his employers expense) and his colleague action at the counter who asked me to leave is unbelievable, petty, and small-​time. This guy really knows how to hurt a business while spoiling what was once a loyal customers day. I will never go to this store again.

Walked in and not seeing what I needed tried to get some help.2 people were on phone taking orders. I can understand they were busy but that is totally no excuse for ignoring a customer. They could at least have made eye contact saying ”I will be with you in a moment”.They have a good selection of Wines for which they get an A grade. Customer service an F grade. There are other liquor stores in the area and they are not the only game in town. I got what I needed elsewhere. I will also encourage Equinox across the street (they order from them for club functions) to go elsewhere. No shortage of places that want their business and mine to.

A complicated store, but well worth a visit if you are in the area. Good selection of wines from around the world. Sherry section is good+, but staff is so-​so on providing value added expertise. Would like to see more products in their fortified wine section. Enjoy!

Great wine store in UWS. A gem in the neighborhood. Staff are very nice. Store has a wide selection. Very clean.

Really nice store with a great selection and very reasonable prices. The staff is always very friendly and professional. I just wish they were open a little bit later. But otherwise, they are perfect.

The close-​knit quarters compels you to become intimate with the selections. If your not well-​versed, the staff has proven to make reliable & enjoyable selections.

This is a nice wine store with really good customer service. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The selection is very respectable. The prices are decent. I would definitely come back.

I used to live across the road from this place, and it grew as a standard of what any given wine store should be like. Little did I realize not all wine stores were created equal. Their selection now makes me go out of the way to pick up a few bottles.

Great selection. They have Georgian wine and large format Hendrick’s!

PLACE & LOCATION
Columbus & 67^th. The nearest station will be on Broadway and 66^th, just a few blocks down. Surrounded by great shops and restaurants. I’ve never been to their old store but the current store is bright and everything is clearly labeled.
SELECTION
Good selection. They stock wines and liquors at all price points and from all over the world. They have wines from known producers of a specific country as well as some more esoteric ones. A bit sparse on S. Africa selections.
SERVICE
I was helped by the loveliest person. I was looking for Argentine wines to persuade my Dad that Argentine Malbec wines can be as gorgeous as French wines and I went away with two fantastic bottles as well as a recommendation for a more interesting producer for future purchase.
OVERALL
One stop shop for all your wine and liquor needs. Need an everyday drinking wine? They have it. Looking for a special bottle for an occasion? They have that too. Trying to explore wines from a specific region. Yep, step right up. Fantastic store but might get crowded.

This shop has an unbelievable selection, both of wine and spirits, and is run by a great group of friendly folks. They’re also much more willing to cater to their customers’ custom orders than the folks at other well stocked shops like Astor Wines (tremendous selection there, but good luck getting access to anything allocated unless you own a restaurant). I’ll be coming back here as long as I live in NYC.

Recent renovation to the downstairs has improved flow although I have recently seen two people almost knock over bottles of cheap red.
But they carry Georgian wine (check it out!) and the larger bottles of Hendrick’s (which are hard to find in the city).

What a graet wine store– I lived on the UWS for years and only just discovered it now after I moved to Brooklyn! They have a great selection and the buyers really know what they are talking about, and are super– helpful. I came here for a specific Israeli wine and they found it for me on the spot, and brought out a specialist/​buyer who told me the taste differences I can expect between different vintages, and what needs decanting etc. The prices are NYC style prices but surprisingly I found Flowers Pinot Noir here 5 dollars cheaper than it is in Brooklyn Heights. Go figure. Superb Selection,

They have Leviathan! If you’re an American single malt fan, then you’ll know Leviathan is one of the top brands Stateside. All of their releases are cask strength and single cask which is unique. At about $ 55 a bottle, it’s a bargain compared to similar offerings from Scottish brands.
The owners here are very helpful and accommodating. I spoke with Seth on my visit there and let him know about a new distillery in Scotland. He is working on getting Kilchomans at this store which would be awesome!
Bottom line: If they don’t have the whisky you’re looking for, just ask since the owners seem very eager to help.

Favorite wine store in the city. Easy (a block from dance) with wide selection from 5 to 25 to 125…
I have never bought a bad wine here at any price, the most expensive having been 16.99. But bought some dirt cheap bottles which were perfectly adequate.
Everyone is nice and it’s far less intimidating than Garnet Wines on Lex and 69^th or so.
Embassy Wines is small on 62^nd and Lex (between 61^st and 62^nd) but friendly.
I buy whiskey as thanks for use of family friend’s apartment on the UES so I don’t know if Knob at 47.99 is low or high. Since I can’t buy wine at CVS in Manhattan and I have never been by a Trader Joe’s, I just say whatever. Drinking at home is always cheaper than going out to drink so I don’t comparison shop.
I went to New Jersey a few months ago and was both horrified and shocked by the prices of wine there. Shitty 5 bucks CVS Barefoot sold for 7.50. Mediocre Blackstone Cab (not the reserve which is 11.99 in CA but the one 7.50 at CVS or Trader Joe’s) was 11.99.
I don’t buy hard liquor that much so I’m not up on prices but I think prices are fair here.

I’m writing this review on 67 based on my one and only visit there. I came here on a chilly evening with my mind set on getting one thing: gragnano sparkling red wine (67 is one of the few places in the city to carry it). The place was packed like a sardine can with patrons constantly going in and out and filling up the tiny aisles.
The selection was massive — offering two floors of beverage and merchandise selection. There was a good ratio staff members around who were willing to help the thirty customers pick their poison. After roaming the store a bit I was able to flag down one of the busy staff members who graciously walked me exactly to where the bottles of gragnano were hiding (under the stairs and behind the back counter) — all the while, giving me a brief lesson on perfect pairings for the wine.
Checking out was probably the most stressful part of my visit; being in a cramped line, surrounded by strollers, bottles and glass, while patrons were coming and going (since the registers are adjacent to the entrance). I was terrified I was going to crush someone or break something. Fortunately, the staff worked their quickest to get me out without a scratch (or shatter).
