Excellent haircut around this neighborhood. Friendly service and very good price for guys haircut. This is my regular stop every 2 weeks because of reasonable rate.
Not a long wait either!

Great place. I came here looking for a quick cut because my normal place was busy. This is now my normal place. The haircut is great. It’s affordable. And always friendly.

Great place nice haircuts and hot towel shaves tape ups skin fades and seccoirs cut very relaxing place you will definitely enjoy.

My regular barber; always get an efficient and very tidy cut. Usually get a cut from George with good results, have also been happy with any of the other guys.
For $ 15 it’s great value, I’m a happy customer.

I live in Connecticut. I saw a groupon for this business when I was visiting my friend in UES for Thanksgiving. I wanted to give it a try.
He gave me a very clean haircut. Shave was so thorough. He even gave me a shoulder massage. All for an unbeatable price.
I was the only customer when I entered and was a little unsure if it would be good.
When I first entered, I saw this big macho guy. I wasnt sure he would be attentive to my needs. Well, he proved me wrong.
He took care of me in the best possible way. He not only gave me what I wanted but also gave me a great experience. He had a cute accent. Was humorous (he told me that my skin looked like baby butt after his smooth shave… haha). Kept me engaged in a friendly conversation WHILE taking care of business.
A true professional and a perfect example of customer care. SOOOO HARD to come by in a city full of rude people (I still love the BIG APPLE).lol
George reminded me the way I used to get my grooming services done backhome in India. Old Glory!
The place is comparatively new. So not a lot of people know about it. Explains why I was the only customer when I entered on a holiday weekend.
I really want the business to thrive and will surely go when I am in the city and in need of a haircut.
I referred my friend to this place but my friend later told me that he always goes to this place but didnt remember the name of the place.
(maybe the place needs a new name to better identify the place: How about George’s Old Glory Barbershop)

Let’s put it this way. I live over 50 blocks away and I will be back as a regular at 2^nd Avenue Barbershop. George, my barber, was professional, friendly, and did a great job with my haircut and shave. Other reviews have talked about the great price, and yes you get a great bang for your buck here. But more importantly you get a great haircut with friendly service!

I come in every week for a skin fade. Best and most affordable barber shop in upper east side. Can’t beat it, only 12 bucks!

$ 12 haircut that beats out everyone in the area!

Fifth haircut is free. Best deal in town.
