It’s an absolute gem in the neighborhood! So much care has gone into designing and procuring some of the freshest produce I’ve seen in New York. The prices are outstanding — much better than the supermarkets in the area. There’s also a real neighborhood vibe, and the workers begin to recognize you after awhile and there is a wonderful relationship. Produce is seasonal and the owner will be happy to talk to you all about the source. Also, there’s a deli section and pretty decent craft beer selection for the neighborhood. The only things I wouldn’t go here for are prepackaged items or bakery items.

Really like this place! Fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables at great prices! Now they have veggie/fruit juices, a salad bar and a meat butcher! I bought 3 lbs of ripe Bananas for $ 1.00, as the fruits ripen they are discounted wrapped and packaged and displayed outside the market. I peeled and froze them for delicious smoothies!

So so I find this place neither particularly cheap nor is the produce particularly fresh. And the owner lady at the cashier is quite unfriendly. All in all not worth the trip, there are several supermarkets in the area that can do better.

This place is AMAZING! I’ve been looking for a new grocery store since my last one closed, and this place WINSSS. It’s cheap, fresh, and the people are really nice and helpful. And if you spend over $ 20– FREEJUICE! I was impressed.

the spaghetti squash is already spagetti’d! I would have never tried it if I had to spaghettify it myself. the guy from Watkins on 116th does their juicing. Its a great fruit/veggie/mexican cooking supply store. you have to spend 10 to use your credit card but they give you a free cup of coffee or something with the purchase.
