The New York Post

My husband and myself decided to get home delivery of The New York Post 2 years ago. In the 2 years that we started home delivery the paper has not been delivered over 30 times. Repeated calls to the Customer Service Dept accomplishes nothing. They promise to have the paper delivered by the afternoon but it never arrives. They also promise a credit but that too is an empty promise. We are so tired of paying for a service that we only get part of the time. Doesn’t anyone care? Very disappointed.

Horrible, shameful rag sheet that would mention no less than 10 times that a beautiful, young woman was drinking when she tragically fell to her death from a fire escape. How would you like reading that if you were a family member? Right wing, judgmental crap journalism at its finest!

Many people I know, many well educated, sheepishly admit to reading the Post before they read anything else. Now when I say sheepishly, I think they are secretly proud to admit this, some sort of «Im a real NYer» or something. But ok. Evidently all NYers read this paper. One of them told me its the most read paper in the country, but I don’t know if that’s true. Especially with all the free USA Todays outside hotel rooms.
But this is a fun paper to read. And its pretty accurate. You read a story here and you can be reasonably confident in it. The online version is a little distracting to me, lots of moving images and hard to actually read what they say to click further in. But once you get used to the format it can work.

I wanted to do a review of New York Post. I do not trust most news agencies and for good reason. There was a scandalous international news frenzy about me that lasted at least 3 and a half years. It was started by a wealthy attorney who paid a publicist to post a bunch of untrue stories in an effort to use me as a scape goat.
This attorney has been investigated by the FBI for bribery and has gotten arrested for assault. If I tried to explain the story nobody would believe me it is that crazy! In fact friends of mine who saw the story with my picture did not even recognize me because the story was so wild and crazy!
All of the news agencies except the NY Post published a story just because this attorney said it was true without checking the facts or contacting me.
The New York Post was the only agency who actually contacted me and checked legal and other documents to see if it was even true. So judging by personal experience I can say that the New York Post does not have an agenda and publishes news based on research and documentation. I can’t say that for other publications.
I live in one of the 5 boros. I think this is a City news paper and not for hillbillies from Long Island or Smallbany.

«Buy us we’re back» stuck on my mind at the once near bankruptcy print media company is still printing. Local news which, I agree with a previous Unilocaler, this company expose companies in depth of controversial «whistle blower» WikiLeaks unlike rivals New York Times, Newsday et al. do not dare publish the dirty laundry of what lies beneath the masquerade.
The language is certainly not written by well-​educated M.B.A.‘s, doctoral degree level or well-​articulated journalists, prolific writers but relay the message to their target market. The absence of the standard written English language is immensely great in New York Post. Too add the interest of literacy of facts reported, New York Post plaster too many photos and advertisements in the entire paper rather than report news. I often find a lot of repetition in a single article only reiterated in different formats too many times to fill the void.

Woohoo… Wow you know you are popular when there are so many hateful reviews on here.
Serious. I use to live in NY, ride the subways, ride the Staten Island Ferry, really get about and the only paper I saw NY’s buying and reading was the NY Post. No shame admitting they enjoy a good story and headline like anyone else. At least you know what you are getting with this paper unlike the agenda from say the NY Times.
Plus this paper is not afraid to actually take on some whistle blowing stories and expose some criminal fraud in the govt and big corporations. Go NY Post. You guys/​gals rock.

Its a newspaper that loves to be a tabloid.
Period.

All this needs is Bat Boy and it’s complete!
Utter drivel, garbage, not worth the money.

I’m still pissed!

I found the quality of NEW YORK POST brand bathroom tissue to be sorely lacking.
This single-​ply bathroom tissue uses way too many dyes and inks– the Soviets themselves wouldn’t tolerate this kind of propagan– toilet paper.
Although the prospect of cleaning oneself with the faces and words of some of our age’s worst journalists and most selfish celebs is a nice idea, in practice it is very uncomfortable.
I do not recommend this product.

Now a tabloid rag, this used to be NY’s liberal flagship paper, albeit with relatively short articles. But it was not the sensation-​seeking, Daily-​News-​like garbage it now is.
