I’ve been going here since it opened… reluctantly. Working in the area, there are hardly any choices so I’m forced to — but i have to stop. The«eggs» here just taste bad. I’m not sure they are actually eggs since they are in a big bowl and scooped out. It is definitely NOT Fresh and it is super expensive.

Good place in the area for salad, on par with Chop’t and Just Salad. Staff is friendly and salad is fresh, no complaints. Haven’t tried their soup but have heard good things.

Today was the first and last time I ordered from this place. I ordered for myself and 4 coworkers before noon with an hour estimated wait time. 65 minutes later I call to see where the order is and they were only«packing it up» and it hadn’t left. Fine, whatever, I wait for another 30 minutes to finally getting the order and they forgot a salad. On top of that, nothing is marked so it’s a guessing game of what’s what. I called to complain and get reimbursed for the missing salad and the woman very happily offered a not so believable sorry without seeming to care that I told her that I’ll never order from them again. But I suppose by judging from all the 1 and 2 star ratings, they must not worry too much about return customers.

Alright. After a few years of frequenting this Fresh & Co. I can confidently say it is NOT worth it. And by «it» I mean the exorbitant price tag. Now look, anyone who’s read my reviews knows I will pay stupid big money for good food. Problem is, Fresh & Co. just isn’t tasty enough to warrant such prices. Today, I paid 17 dollars for a kale salad and small cup of soup. That, friends, is insane… even in New York. You can order the same soup and salad a block away at Dig Inn or Pret a Manger for a fraction of the price. So do that instead. I certainly will be.

What a not relaxing place! Music is super loud, poor servers are all stressed out to deliver the salads as fast as possible, customers get the stress for them too(at least I did) and I believe they charged me one dollar toppings that I did not asked not got. I still put 3 stars because ingredients are rather good and price is decent.

Love the soup and salads here. The name says it all. Plenty of seats inside and out doors. Prices are reasonable. Hey they are gluten free. Have locations all around the city

They kept putting on toppings and didn’t tell me whether it is additional charges. I came for a $ 7 salad ended up paying $ 13 and it was all veggies! So pissed, just won’t come again

Clean, airy shop located in the breezeway between 47th St. &48th St, next door to FedEx. Fast, friendly service in the AM. Not all menu items are listed on the menu board, so look online before you come. –2 Egg Classic Sandwich on brioche bun($ 3.21): Plain and simple. Good.

This place should actually be called«(Not So) Fresh & Co» as the bread in the sandwiches always seems to taste a few days old. Another more appropriate name would be «Super Expensive For What It Is & Co» as prices are some of the highest I’ve come across in Midtown for a(very average) sandwich/deli shop. There is always a line but that’s because most of the customers work in the building and don’t have the time or inclination to leave at lunchtime and go elsewhere. I only go there in an emergency if I really only do have 10 minutes to grab a bite, and when I do I get the soup which is usually decent although I assume it contains liquid gold due to the price. If you want a topping on your soup, that is of course extra(free everywhere else in the city). If you’re in the area and need a place ASAP, Num Pang is around the corner with much better food options that won’t hurt your wallet as much.

Come here only if you want to be robbed blind at cash register point. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVERPRICED and their food doesnt warrant it. Their food is average at best, salads are just ok, breakfast food is crazy expensive(bacon, egg white and cheese for 7 bucks, are they serious?). Drinks, yogurt, everything costs 70% percent more here than it would anywhere else even in this area. Pancakes are dry as all hell, its like eating construction paper, you would need to dump them in a tub of syrup to taste them at all and who wants to do that? Soups are ok, really nothing to write home about here, nothing special at all and the prices are outrageous.

If you want a nice salad… this is a good place to stop… it’s NYC… it is usually packed around lunch time… I always like a nice chopped salad… that is what they have with a good variety of options… certainly a good stop for a quick meal.

If you’re in a hurry — this place is definitely a great place to grab a quick bite. I did a create your own salad, but I was pretty disappointed in my ratio of leaves to veggies/protein. There definitely was plenty of leaves to feel like I was eating grass as opposed to a salad. The chimichurri dressing is solid, add some lime juice to it as well for a nice tangy kick.

I had Falafel salad and it made me sad all afternoon. The salad had a strong kale taste and was really spicy(I think it’s because of the sriracha). My salad did have falafel, chickpeas, tomatoes and cucumbers, but the kale and the sriracha flavors overpowered everything else, even the falafel tasted like kale… If you want something healthy for lunch, and still have mood for your afternoon work, don’t get the Falafel salad!

Super fresh and delicious! Try to dodge it between 12 – 1 because swarms of people start coming in for their lunch breaks. I also enjoy how there is an outdoor seating area(and there are always seats available).

I wish there was half a star I can give for the rude service. For $ 15 sandwich and soda lunch, you’d think they could make up for it on service, but no. I’ve held out as long as I can without writing a bad review(and avoiding the place as much as possible despite it’s location) and I have to say that they CONSISTENTLYROLLOUTPOOR, RUDE, AWFULSERVICE. A fresh rudeness today when I asked for a larger bag so they, for once, not jam my sandwich in sideways into a tiny bag so that it spills out as a mess all over my bag when I get it back to my desk, the counter woman gave me such attitude about giving me a larger bag and asked me to carry my soda and other things instead so she can just fit the sandwich in the tiny bag. I asked her to just give me a bigger bag and all of the items can fit. So what does she do? She gives me the larger bag, puts in the sandwich and then rams my bottle of soda on top of my sandwich — intentionally jams it in there so my sandwich is squashed anyway. And was it squashed? Of course it was. A jammed up, broken in pieces mess of a sandwich is apparently how they like to serve your lunch. I just don’t get it. What’s that about? Is it necessary to be so rude? I’m paying for my lunch and I don’t need them to spill it, squash it or otherwise try to make it a pile of mess before I eat it — is that too much to ask? And you don’t even need to be super nice, just be normal, no need to smile if you don’t want to or chat me up. Just don’t be a rude, mean, jerk. But apparently that’s their specialty and they are consistently great at it. My opinion: AVOIDAVOIDAVOID.

13 F*&^$%#* dollars for this?! green salad with literally 3 chicken pieces, some egg white, mushroom and dressing. AND a lady at the register not reacting on my comment«Waow, 13 dollars for this?». Not even a smile or puppy eyes. Just ignoring. That says a lot about the place. They ignore customer feedback and just collect money highly, as they are in midtown and don’t care about people coming back. I really feel like somebody took money out of my pocket without asking.

I would really urge everyone to avoid this place altogether. A crappy sammy can easily be $ 10 and a salad — $ 12. But what trumps all of this… the service. There’s always a Russian-accented woman rushing you through the conveyor belt that is lunchtime. Look, I GETITLADY. It’s Midtown, it’s busy but many other people do it with class and less rudeness. I’ve been in the service industry and I totally get it but steer clear of this joint. It’s a rip off and the product is not worth the buck. Oh and the breakfast… YIKES. it comes with a full side of bland. Enjoy.

I don’t enjoy spending $ 10 or more on a salad since it seems like such a waste of money but really wanted something healthy and a new lunch option and so I landed here. Well I made a huge mistake coming to this spot. Ordered a salad and when you ask for chicken, why do they only give you 4 – 5 small squares and call that an ingredient? A guy needs his protein! The other ingredients were also very small and didn’t even taste fresh. Plus when i ask for olive oil dressing, I have to stand on another line just for that?! I also did not ask for them to chop up the salad yet they did it anyway. Also, when I say a small splash of olive oil, how does that translate to drenching the entire thing? I could barely eat the salad at my desk. Above all else, it just didn’t taste good at all. Maybe it was an off day since there was a line there so it has to be good for something? Don’t know if I will ever be back here, that’s for sure.
