Normally I love this place and have over all have had good experiences. Today I bought the«Chilled Avocado Corn Salad» which was labeled«vegan.» After biting into it I discovered that it in fact, is not vegan, and has chicken. After calling and being not-reassured that it was vegan the manager looked into it and told me that the food was mislabeled. To her credit she did apologize and offer me a lunch on the house, but this kind of mistake is not acceptable especially for a company that prides itself on it’s vegetarian and vegan options. People should be able to trust that food that is labeled«vegan» is actually vegan. Edit: I was contacted and apologized to by management. I do like this company a lot and it was a mistake, which happens and they have done everything they can do to rectify it. I feel that they will be more careful moving forward. I would just note to the vegetarians and vegans to take a quick peek to ensure that you aren’t accidentally purchasing something that may not be vegan/veggie

Fresh&Co – over the years, you’ve won my heart with your colorful, healthy, and *tasty* lunch options, but especially this location in particular. Between all other healthy lunch spots in NYC that I frequent – Roast Kitchen, Chop’t, Just Salad, Pret, Gigi Café(I could go on) – this tops my list. First – the place is literally spotless. Even the two bathrooms(TWO! One upstairs and one down) are ridic clean. Secondly, the staff has always been super attentive and warm, and the managers are always present, dressed nicely. I wouldn’t even expect that from a deli/café, so it just sticks out and is something I’ve always noticed. I like for my meals to be rich with greens as well as flavorful… and it delivers. kudos to whatever corporate chef came up with their specialty sandwiches/soups. The 5 mushroom? Bomb. I’m having the split pea while I currently write this. Everything from their quinoa bowls(spicy tinga sauce plz) to the Huevos rancheros for brunch are unreal. Lastly? Free internet, always working, and plentiful seating space and outlets. YASSS fresh&co. Thank you for giving me faith in fast-ish food. :)

Welp, the salad was just alright. The salad dressing was a bit watery and I felt like it didn’t even lightly coat the whole meal(I got a California Cobb minus the blue cheese, plus the recommended dressing). I got lured into the store by the free water promotion, which the manager denied upon my purchase. The staff was friendly and the place was relatively clean, but this place did not blow my mind

I’m just visiting the city, but I think I have an obsession/addiction for this place already. I love their quinoa bowl, which provides lots of veggie, protein, and carb at the same time(and a very nice balanced breakfast/brunch for the on-the-go tourist like me. Most of the staff is friendly, but one or two can use a coffee(or maybe I just went there too early). But all in all I haven’t had anything disappointing there.

I’ve been going here for a while. They have good salad options and I’m usually in our pretty quickly. The staff is good, which always helps.

I was really excited to try fresh & co especially since they have really yummy sounding vegan options. I ordered the kale caesar salad. It sounded great on paper but it was truly nothing special. For $ 13(with an add on) I felt really ripped off for the amount amount of food I received. It is extremely slow here on Saturdays and the staff here are neutral at best to snide at worst. I felt like I was incoveniencing them the entire time I was there. I won’t be back to this or any other location.

Fresh&Co is nice, but very over-priced. Especially considering the competition in the area, it definitely isn’t on par with other lunch places in the area and the price doesn’t reflect that. There is a good selection of soups and they are very tasty but the portions are too small.

After I’m going here several times in the past week, I found myself in the area on Saturday, hoping to get a quick bite(soup, without a wait!) The Staff has always been accommodating, except the one Asian girl, who is beyond aloof. After repeatedly asking if the soup was a vegetarian, she responded yes, however I kept asking because I didn’t see the vegetarian label(could’ve been blocked) fed up, she turns around the label showing me her side(all the ingredients that go into making the soup, Lo and behold– the first ingredient is chicken stock!) She tried to be smug, and reaffirm that a There is no meat in the soup! Lady if you see chicken stock, use that daft brain and say no it’s not vegetarian. This type of behavior, and irresponsibility is beyond off-putting.

Clean, friendly and all the servers are wearing gloves… this location is stellar, with a working, clean bathroom too! There is an upstairs dining area too! Lots of vegan options… I’m in!

Awesome healthy food(Gluten free) and prompt delivery. Try their strawberry pancakes and quinoa bowls. Totally scrumptious!

This place would be great if it wasn’t so expensive. I’m a big health-nut, so I go crazy over food-to-go places like these. Besides the salads, my favorite thing to grab is their chi seed parfait with granola made with coconut milk. It’s really good, but is it reallyyyy worth the $ 7? Like, really? I understand healthy food is expensive, but for one cup of chi seed yogurt should not be the cost of an inexpensive meal. Other than that, the food here over all is okay. The soup’s okay, the sandwiches are okay, the salads are okay — just not really worth the price.

It’s okay. I go here about every week for a quick turkey salad or some fruit. Although the food is generally fresh, the last few time I’ve picked up the prepacked salads they’ve been dry. One a plus note, the staff is very friendly and typically very efficient.

The CEO at my new company requested lunch at the last minute, so I was excited to order from Fresh & Co. due to the rave reviews I got from my old colleague up in midtown. I was someone disappointed and embarrassed by my experience. I ordered online which promised a delivery in 40 minutes, it took 65 minutes. I was sweating bullets, but luckily the meeting went long. By the time I got the order, the sandwiches were all smashed and soggy. I ordered some sandwiches from the to-go list because the descriptions sound so good, however, I got a boxed sandwich that you’d find out of a vending machine. My reputation as a hot shot foodie here at my new job lasted less than a week thanks to Fresh & Co.

Tasty, healthy food. I didn’t think it existed. I’ve been eating here several times per week for the past few months. My nutritionist tells me that I’m much healthier for it. Eating healthy is very expensive, I find Fresh & Co reasonable. Use their app and get discounts, I’ve saved a surprising amount this way. The staff are friendly and have always gotten my orders correct. The quinoa bowls are my favorite, but their salads, sandwiches and soups are also good. The breakfast quinoa bowls are amazing, so are the chia pudding deserts.

Really expensive for what it is — but I have to give this place props for helping me get a decent salad while visiting the city during crazed lunch breaks. Ingredients were fresh, but with the dressing and veggie patties, daiya cheese, etc — the food can pretty quickly get into junk food territory. I tried the vegan grilled cheese on my last visit, and it wasn’t really a grilled cheese. More like, a warmed up avocado/daiya cheese/black bean sandwich with wheat bread that kind of tasted like white bread with caramel flavoring. Not a fan. The tomato veg soup was too sweet — tasted like it had a lot of sugar in it. I don’t like that they don’t offer receipts.

My office is located at One Park Ave, I come here almost everyday for lunch(once I love something Im obsessed). The place has a decent seating space upstairs, the staff at the salad station are always super friendly, and they give out generous portions of my(Santa Fe) salad. The cashier staff are quick and even though the line seems long, youre in and out of there no longer than 5 – 10 mins. I have nothing to complain about, very happy to be a regular here!

Also rechtzeitig überlegen!

Clean, somewhat healthy(though their salad bowl portions are HUGE), and not terribly expensive(especially given the area). I had the backyard BBQ bowl. The fake chicken was okay. The red onions were really, really oniony. I loves me some quinoa though.

My wife and I dined here twice and we absolutely love it. There’s a plethora of vegan dishes to choose from along with a variety of tasty soups. This spot is becoming one of our Monday night regulars !

I came here twice in one week for the kale Caesar with shrimp. The portion is a great size and the dressing was the perfect amount. I came in during lunch rush one day and the line moved along surprisingly well. There were an assortment of fresh pressed juices and small snacks like rice pudding as a nice addition. I ended up with the vegan rice pudding which was light and just the right amount to soothe my sweet tooth. During my second visit I sat upstairs to eat. The area is spacious and clean and overlooks the hustle and bustle of the various food stations downstairs. A worker came over to offer to throw my garbage away and wipe down the table. All in all this is a good place to go to have a healthy meal. The prices are moderate but considering the freshness and quality of the food you are getting(and the location of course) it’s worth it.

I love this place. They basically are my all-time provider of food and they do it so fricking well. I’m a creature of habit(bleh, I know), and I fell in love with the mediterranean quinoa bowl paired with jumbo shrimp. They just go so well together, the surprisingly fresh ingredients mesh well together and create a taste sensation. All for a very reasonable amount. As a regular there, one of the employees, Georgie who is seriously awesome tries to spicen things up and he often says that«I should mix things up»; and he helps me in doing this by me just saying«surprise me, man». He makes something refreshing and awesome every single time without overcharging me or being a jerk about it. Really nice guy who is always personable. But, my go-to is always the mediterranean bowl :)
