We also offer signs for individuals or business locations. The proprietor Bruce Cohen is a renowned photographer, painter, and his works are always on display and for sale in the location.

History

Established in 1978.

FCC Gallery started when Bruce Cohen and Virginia Hayes opened a retail store in the Caldor Plaza in Vails Gate more than 32 years ago. They specialized in handmade jewelry, stained glass, art supplies and custom picture framing. They have moved 3 times over the years and now operate from the 1770 house. The store has changed with the times and now offers an array of local artwork, as well as engraving, trophy, award services, commercial signs and of course Custom Picture Framing.

Business Owner

I have been in the framing and art business for 32 years, since retiring as a licensed art teacher. My journey has taken me in many directions. Custom framing, Panoramic photography, Engraving and awards, original art, as well as designing bronze historic street markers and personalized gifts.

With a masters degree in art and education I have been producing art and related products most of my life.

I enjoy what I do every day and take on new and exciting projects when they present themselves. My newest project is helping a local college create a display of photographs that will point students to interesting places they can visit and participate in.

Other projects over the years have been designing entryway and waiting rooms for professional offices, institutions and large office complexes.
