I ordered from here about a year ago, and didn’t think the food was very good. The only thing I actually liked at that time was their cold sesame noodles. I decided to give them another try and the food in general was better. I wouldn’t call it good, but it wasn’t burned and I didn’t have to throw most of it away this time. The cold sesame noodles that I liked last time, were awful this time. I received completely plain noodles with a tiny sprinkle of sesame seeds on top. No sauce whatsoever. This place might do better with some consistency, especially if it was consistently good instead of bad.

I normally love the food here but recently had a bad experience… Put an order in online for delivery and it took and hour and forty five minutes… They told me they couldn’t make the roll I wanted because the mango was green(I placed the order 45 minutes prior to the call). And my appetizer was cold. They still charged me full price for everything and didn’t even apologize for any of the inconvenience. I normally enjoy the food here but this was not a good experience and I may have to find another sushi place to go to.

We had gone to this restaurant a few times for the all you can eat sushi. Typically we learned to cope with the owner who kept asking us if we were done(wife + 2 kids), because we eat a lot of sushi even for all you can eat. Anyway my wife wanted to go there for Mother’s Day. The a/c was broken. We waited for an hour to get our first round of sushi, we had to reorder my wife’s order 3 times because they kept forgetting to bring it to her — on Mother’s Day. They didnt refill our water glasses. The stink from the restroom wafted over the tables in the hot humid dining area to add to the amibinece. And when the bill came 2.5 hours later after sweating along with all the other patrons who experienced similar levels of service quality, they still charged us full price for the privilege. If you’re lucky enough to be served quickly, the sushi is decent quality. Watch out because they over stuff the rolls with rice to fill you up — order sashimi instead. Otherwise, for a nice sushi meal go elsewhere.

Food was delicious! And i will definitely be returning here. The drinks too a little too long to get and they made 2 mistakes in the entrees giving us onions when we asked for it «without» onions. Beaudes that the food wasgreat!

Very good food, extremely fresh. Sushi had too much rice, but still good. Was reading reviews posted by others and the only thing I agree is about the simple decoration. Food was really good. We had the all you can eat sushi. Salmon was fresh, and this is one of the best beef fried rice I had in a while. Will definitely come back.

I once made a mistake by confusing another place with this place. I tried it and there was scales in my sushi. Yuck! The one nice thing is the staff was friendly, but those scales were enough to keep me away.

I ordered the vegetable Tom Yam soup in August and found a hair in it. The owner was apologetic and gave me a new soup. Just tonight I ordered take-out of the vegetable Tom Yam soup and guess what — another hair in the soup! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

I loved my meal yesterday so much I had to come back with a friend of mine for lunch. Their sushi lunch specials are a fantastic deal! They also had kitchen food specials which were equally as excellent. Yet another great meal that left me and my wallet very satisfied!

Bland and it didn’t taste that fresh. The salad was 100% iceberg lettuce, nothing else. The whole experience was just very disappointing.

Great food at a very reasonable price. Not the fanciest building so keep expectations realistic. It’s well worth giving the all you can eat menu a try!

For the price the all you can eat is a great deal. The fish is always fresh and he waitress is super friendly. They are a little short staffed and things can take a long time but that just gives you more time to digest! Don’t let the other reviews keep you from trying this place. We eat a lot of sushi and at places that are much more expensive, chopsticks measures up!

The owner was nasty and often came up to us to tell at about how we didn’t finish our sushi and she should charge us extra. Meanwhile, when my friend complained about one of her tempura rolls the owner revealed to is she couldn’t adjust it because the rolls are pre-frozen before fried. To say the least, eating sushi that isn’t fresh isn’t exactly how I care to eat my raw fish. On top of this, her kids were running in and out of the kitchen and our waitress had a visible swastika tattoo on her ankle. Although in defense of this restaurant, the food and sushi was actually pretty decent. I’m just not sure it was good enough to make me go back.

Don’t ever eat here. Ever. If i could give it zero stars i would. My friends and I showed up for all you can eat Asian food on a Saturday Night, a $ 22 prix fixe. Two of my friends, who were with us, eat lunch there often and have loved it, so we decided to try it for dinner. Mistake. This was not a buffet. They had a large menu of items we could order off of and they would be brought to the table. Everything they brought was tasty, though the sushi rolls were rather pedestrian. However, the service – particularly the kitchen service – was abysmal. There were seven of us. It was not crowded – there were two waitresses and four tables were occupied. Nonetheless it was awful. The first clue was when they didn’t have enough water glasses for us. That should have tipped us off. Apparently, the poor waitresses – who were vice, attentive, and charming and tried very hard – had to go back and wash our glasses before we could be served. What kind of place doesn’t have a dishwasher? Apparently this one. We later found out that there was one guy in the kitchen. One – cook, prep, sushi chef, dishwasher – one guy. While there were not a lot of people in the restaurant itself they were also doing takeout. One guy. When they put our order in they didn’t worry about who ahd ordered what(perhaps they thought we were sharing everything) so two people got all their food right away and the rest of us were left to starve. I ordered a salad at one point because I was getting hungry and the waitresses were making those themselves, so we got them right away. It took an hour and seventeen minutes for my friend Little Mike(as opposed to me Mike and Big Mike, all of whom were there) to get his appetizer. His APPETIZER. His appetizer was a sashimi plate. Sliced raw fish. No cooking, no nothing. It didnt’ even need to be rolled in sticky rice. An hour and seventeen minutes. But that wasn’t the worst of it. It turned out they were running out of everything. How can a restaurant that offers all you can eat not order enough food on a Saturday night? Easy: they are CHEAPCHEAPCHEAP! They gave my won ton soup to someone else and then told me they were out if won tons. An Asian restaurant out of won tons! It gets better. They also were out of the thing we actually came for, the tuna takamaki. But the piece de resistance was when one of us ordered another sushi roll, waited for twenty minutes, and was then told it would be another twenty minutes because they were OUTOFRICEANDHADTOCOOKSOMEMORE! We complained to the owner who gave us some song and dance about how busy it was. Sorry, but 2 waitresses + 4 tables = not busy. We asked around and found that this happens there all the time. The owner is so cheap she won’t hire any kitchen help, so food takes forever. I had my suspicion that they did most of their business via delivery and probably give takeout food a priority. I don’t know, but i cant’ imagine otherwise how they’ve stayed in business for three years. Regardless, the owners attitude amounted to «I’m trying my best, you should be sorry for me,» yet she still charged us each full price for the meal. Honestly, this was the WORSTDININGEXPERIENCEOFMYLIFE, and that includes every time I’ve gotten food poisoning and the time my mother choked on her bouillabaisse.

Everything is amazing there. The American waitress is the best. And around closing her bf or husband comes in. Awesome. But let’s get back to the sushi. It’s to good to be on the buffet. 20 $ per person to eat buffet on week days. I think 22 $ on weekends. Totally worth it.

Just no. Heard some ok things about this place so decided to try it. I repeat… just no. For what we paid i’m so disappointed. Maki rolls(3 of them) were meh. Maaaaybe a step above the trays you can buy at the grocery. Shumai dumplings were terrible, pure mush and no flavor. Mango chicken entrée was bad too. So… if you’re looking around newburgh just do yourself a favor and go right to Yobo. Chopstick is priced the same and no where near as good.

If there was a way to not give a single star, that would be my rating. A couple friends and I came here tonight for the«All You Can Eat» option. One friend ordered 4 sushi rolls, I ordered 3 rolls, and the other friend ordered hibachi while we shared a couple appetizers. After bringing out both my friends’ orders, the manager was holding up my order of sushi. She waited until my friend was finished eating and came over to ask if we wanted the other rolls. Being that I have not eaten anything, I asked why my rolls haven’t come out even though the other 2 tables were being served. She told me its bc my friend wasn’t done with his plate of 4 sushi rolls. Our waitress then brought out 2 of my 3 rolls and said the other would be right out, only for us to wait another 10 minutes before asking for it. The waitress explained that the manager wasn’t letting the chef make it bc I have 2 rolls that I haven’t finished yet and that I should complain to the manager. This was quite epic. So we flagged the manager over and asked why I couldn’t get my 3 rolls that I ordered. She answered its bc I didn’t finish my 2 rolls yet and people never finish their food. I have never met this lady before so I don’t know where she got the idea that I can’t finish my 3 rolls. All I wanted was to have my sushi. So here I am, eating my 2⁄3 rolls while both my friends are finished with their meals. I don’t know about you, but this isn’t usually how I plan on having dinner with friends. She kept arguing with us that we have to finish everything or there will be a 30% charge(even though the menu says 15%). She just kept saying that people don’t finish their food. Okay, but I’m hungry and you still haven’t fed me woman! mind you, I still haven’t gotten my 3rd roll yet. But all she wanted me to do was eat my 2 rolls when all I wanted was the 3 rolls I originally ordered. I told her she can charge me if I don’t finish my rolls and she grumpily put in my order. I had barely even began to eat when my friends are already done. Another 20 minutes later she brought out my last roll. Little did she know, that was enough time for us to breathe and inhale the last roll. Then we hear her yelling at the next table for not eating their rolls bc they ordered too many. And she brought up my table asking why she won’t let us order so many rolls. I honestly don’t know how this lady expects to run a business if she plans on talking about other customers right in front of them. The food was mediocre and the sushi was okay. The service by the waitresses were decent, however the entire experience was tarnished by the manager lady. If you’re not going to bring the customers what they order, then I suggest not putting«All You Can Eat» on the menu. Better yet, don’t argue with a customer about how much they can eat. I feel bad for the waitresses that have to put up with her.

I am going to give this place a high rating. I think the food is great. the rolls are QUALITY! Sushi is fresh and i compare sushi to NYC. Salmon is quality… the speciality rolls are delicious and very nicely presented. We have been here like 5 times already and we’ll keep going back. It gets busy and I can tell some people can get impatient with the wait but give them a chance…
