Ceely’s Bait Bucket

I wanted to go catfish fishing for the first time (despite a ridiculous worm phobia that sends me running 10 feet away any time someone opens a box of nightcrawlers), so we came here. The couple that runs this store took an incredible amount of time to explain the set-​up that we’d need — and even brought out a pair of latex gloves I could wear while handling the bait.
They are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. And you can tell they’re super honest people who run the business because they love to fish. They gave tips about where and when to go, what to try, what bait to use — and set us up so we had a great time fishing. I obviously can’t speak for more experienced anglers, but as a first-​timer I was really happy we stopped here. (My boyfriend’s actually fished a lot more, and he also thought the place was great.)
We’d almost almost stopped by a big chain-​store type sporting-​goods store earlier that day, but decided to try a local/​family-​run business instead, and it turned out to be the perfect place.
